The Aria AW 110 is a cut-away acoustic guitar, 20 frets. I bought this entry-level guitar new in the early nineties. It has just the basic features which is good enough for me.

I always liked the very warm sound, even though it's not very bright.

The neck has always been uneven (more edgy at the end of the neck than at the base) and the fret-board has shown some wear over the years. Overall this guitar is pretty hard to play: you need to press the chords FIRMLY compared to other acoustic guitars. The body of the guitar is still in mint condition, but the bridge needs to be replaced as it has cracked at almost every chord it sustains.

I consider this to be a very reliable guitar. I never played it on a concert as I intended to use it more as a campfire-guitar.

I have been playing 12 years, I also own a Fender Telecaster (Japan). I bought this Aria when I was a student and was on a low budget. If I was in that position again, I would buy this (cheap) guitar again without hesitation. Right now, if it was stolen, I would probably buy a more expensive guitar (a used Martin or Takamine)

This is an incredibly good sounding acoustic guitar that won't break your budget. Lets see, where to start? Ok it was made in Korea, the body is cedar (I think, and the website says it is.)The top is finished naturally, the sides are given a rosewood colored finish. It has a bound body, and some of the stain used very slightly overlaps it in some spots, not a big deal, hardly noticable. It is a dreadnaught style, and looks really nice. The tuners are some no-name brand, the name isn't even on the tuners and I don't really know what brand they are. They feel really cheap but they work really well, this thing will stay in tune for weeks at a time. The frets ar bigger than my Strat's but do the job well. It comes with a fiberboard case, cheap but works.

I have been playing for a few years now, every guitar teacher i've had commented on how nice it looked, sounded, and played. I play mostly rock, alternative, etc. It would work good for almost any style (thought there is only so many different styles available for acoustics.) I also play some blues with it. The sound is really full, and well balanced. This is my first guitar, I'd never part with it, which is unusual because usually first guitars aren't good sounding and you want to get rid of them.

The action is rather high. I've been out carefully filing the nut down for a better action, not terrible though. I have only three major complaints about this guitar, 1)the frets could have been better, the further down the neck you go, the worse they get, the high e tends to get caught under the last (20th) fret when you get really loud with it, which I think shoud be easily fixed, it's just kinda annoying. 2) the neck, after a year is warped, not to be unnexpected, I've adjusted most of it out with the truss rod, but well, its a pain, one of these days I'll get the neck straightened. 3) the bridge nut is cheap and a chunck broke off underneath the G string, it also has some hairline fractures running underneath each string, I will need to go out and buy a new one soon.

I'm not in a band (but I want to be) but I think this thing would stand up to live playing. I would buy a new case if it was going to travel, I never liked the case much but it does it's job well. I've bashed it around pretty good and it hasn't been destroyed yet, no major scratches to speak of except for where for some reason there is some scratches, noting thru the finish though. I would depend on this guitar in a live situation, though I would NEVER gig without a backup if I could help it, you never know what might happen on stage, and i really would'nt want a good show to go bad because of a stage mishap.

Well, lets see, I've been playing for about 3 years now, this was my first guitar. Since then I've bought a '98 Fender Standard Stratocaster in tobacco sunburst, and a small frontman amp. I also got a Dean Markley Acoustic Pro-Mag SC-1 soundhole pickup for this guitar. I never give 10's because there is no such thing as the perfect guitar (or anything else for that matter!) I'm not gonna do that "If it got stolen, I'd find the guy who stole it and beat them until they are pink and purple" stuff. Lets just say that this is a good guitar. If I had to get a new one, I probably would not get another, I'd probably get a new Ovation, just because I like to give new things a try. This is a really good, inexpensive guitar. But like any inexpensive guitar it is not without faults, but nothing serious, my biggest complaint is the fret job. If you want a second acoustic for backup or something, are just starting out on guitar, or want one to just toss in the back of your car, this is the one! Worth every penny, It also come in a cutaway version and an acoustic/electric version.
