Made in japan.Bought in a pawn shop after looking at it for years!Solid somewhat SG type body.My ones see through red.Neck appears to be laminated maple.Med/Fat frets.Tuners changed on treble string side to gotoh. The originals are pretty sloppy. Will replace the lot soon.Bridge string supports have poorly designed into adjustments. Two Humbuckers w/coil tap and out of phase when both pickups on.Nice heft and balance.Sustains well acoustically.

I love the tones from this sucker.A lot of variations available with coil tap/phase etc.Coil tap is not strat like but clean and punchy.HBs roar and sustain forever.Very clean noise wise considering its over 20 yrs. old.I play it through a Crate club50 2x12 combo using both channels or sometimes with various stomp boxes.Any resonable OD pedal will get the walls vibrating. My style is blues/country rock/alt.Better than my Ibanez 59er in every way.

Don't know about the factory, but not bad from the pawn shop.Lowered the bridge pieces a tad and adj. the neck angle to body.(Prob some thing to do with the big chip in the body)The neck is wicked.Beautiful finish and fast.Tuners and string supports only real weak points.

It is marked on a metal plate on the backside of the neck that this guitar was made 1981. I have found an address on Internet about ARIA
www.ariausa.com & where it says that this model was manufactured in Japan. 22 frets, 2 humbuckers (coil split). 3 way switch with coil taps for both pickups. Solid wooden body and a 4 bolt neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Solid darkbrown top. String-thru body which makes it easier to change strings. There is also a nice black case (original) for the guitar.

This guitar fills all my needs. I'm playing varying kind of music rock, blues, pop etc. I have a Laney twin-amplifier (www.laney.com; model EA65) + some different effects (ZOOM 505) + WAH WAH Pedal (Jimi Hendrix). With the combination 2 humbuckers + the 3 way switch you have lots of sound options. The guitar sounds excellent and does what you tell it to do. Because of the humbuckers there is also no unwanted sound. I like the simplicity and the quality of this guitar.

I got this guitar used and it looked like it was new. No one had played on it for almost 15 years. When I bought it (private) I had to adjust the guitar by a guitar specialist because it was hard to tune. So now when everything is properly adjusted I have no problem tuning it. The guitar has a fine darkbrown solid wooden body.

This is a guitar of good quality and will surely withstand live playing. The finish is good enough to last for lots of playing. The guitar (body & neck) has been varnished with a number of layers. The strap buttons are solid but since the guitar is pretty heavy I have bought a strong leather strap to secure that the guitar stays around my neck. I can surely depend on this guitar and the only backup I need is some new guitar strings.

I have been playing for about 30 years. I'm also playing acoustic (Landola AC-855; www.landola.fin) that's why I have an amplifier with two channels one for the acoustic and one dedicated electric. I don't sell this guitar but rather let my children have it if and when they get interested of playing guitar. If it were stolen I would try to find a similar guitar but I think it would be hard to find a guitar that is in such good condition. I know a music store in Sweden that have second hand ARIA guitars (electric). They say that I have found a treasure for the price I payed for this guitar.
