Big jazzbox, beautiful sunburst, two humbuckers, traditional electronics.
The pickguard rattles, had to remove it. Once again less is more.
628mm scale, neck is a good compromise: neither thick or wide or thin, really great to play on.
It is a simple guitar, made to play and not to talk about it.
Floating wood bridge with height adjustment, you better secure it with masking tape if you change all your strings at once (and clean/feed the fingerboard while you're there).
Tuners had to be tightened, do their job without problems.
Nothing came with the guitar, could be the dealer for all I know.
Given the price paid, a 10

First, I installed 12's flatwounds.
It sounds nice, a bit hollow and dark, and louder than expected. Jazz!
The pickups are more than okay, they sound fresh and precise, I think they are well-suited to the guitar.
Controls works ok, nothing to say.
This guitar is the ticket to the jazz experience, it gives you a precise taste of this style of guitars.
For the price paid more than ok.
Action, Fit, & Finish

I had to work a bit on it in order to have the action as low as desired.
Main thing is: the neck is near perfect flat so low action is welcome.
The bridge was too high, so was the nut. Careful job, nothing for beginners, but no big deal at all.
By now it is as smooth to play as my other axes (yamaha aex1500, ibanez artcores af75) only it's a big guitar (17 inches at waist).
A ten after some work (a sane basis allows this), but stock action is way too high hence the rating

I really like this no-fuss guitar, prefectly set now.
I don't see the point of another jazz guitar, being a rocker.
I just wanted a taste, and a good looking axe on the wall.
And I play it way more than expected, tone as it comes, no amplifier needed at night!
A ten, but as it comes an eight.
