I was looking for a half size guitar . I tried the small Taylor
travelling guitar which was good but retailed for about $1000 Australian. Next I tried the Yamaha JR-1 which I actually preferred over the Taylor and was about $800 cheaper.
I finally tried this $89 Aschton and knew i'd found a bargain!

Very nicely made guitar.
Great action

It seems like it will last a long time , but then, I've only owned it
for a day.
Would I gig with a half size nylon string guitar? hmm..
why not!

Although the small Yamaha was my secong choice, small steel string guitars tend to sound a bit ...tinny.
If I ever owned the very expensive small Taylor, I would worry about
it being damaged, stolen...scratched even.
Which is why I'm happy with this cheap but well made Ashton.
