Good looking tele style guitar with glossy black finish and gold colored hardware, maple fingerboard. Single coil bridge and humbucker in neck position. String-thru-body bridge which I view a must for a tele.

I love the sound of this guitar. I got this as a backup to my Fender Nashville Tele a couple months ago but wound up just playing this one all the time. I use this through a Fender Blues Deluxe with a Route 66 pedal and cover a wide variety of lead and rhythm sounds both overdriven and clean for a country rock band. I have taken this to sit in with a classic rock/blues band and it was up to the job there as well. It sounds like a tele. I have an LP if I need an LP sound and a strat for strat sounds. So all I ask of this guitar is for it to sound like a tele and it does. I didn't have the problem with the wrong capacitor, mine was perfect out of the box.

The setup was perfect and the fretwork exceptional. One of the saddles was oxidized and the spacing of the string grommets in back was uneven.

I've been playing over 20 years and I would definitely buy this guitar again. It's a great value. I wish they made a thinline version. I bought an Aslin-Dane strat five or so years ago and still like it better than my MIM Fender strat.

Gloss finish, white ash color, gold hardware, single coil bridge and humbucker neck, like a Tele Deluxe. Beautiful.

OK. I give 2 grades here. It had a very dark sound, almost like an ES-335 with the tone control rolled off. Sounded GREAT with distortion or maybe for jazz....but if I buy a Telecaster, I want it to twang.
So I took it to a shop to buy a standard Tele pickup, thinking the Chinese made PUs weren't good...and instead, they simply rewired the switch and volume and tone controls. Seems the factory installs a bunch of caps and other stuff....and for $20 you can have a standard Fender wiring and you are twangin'. Sounds exactly like a Tele now. So original sound grade...5. After fix....10.

The bridge has 6 separate saddle...not aligned with the holes very well. But easy to fix. I lowered the action some because I like James Burton style low action. Neck is straight and fat. Finish is good, pickups adjusted right. After I set it the way I wanted it, it plays very well.

Just got it. Hard to tell how solid it will be. It seems well made and sounds good. I guess we'll see. I never, ever play without a backup...I always bring 2 guitars. I hate changing strings during a set. No matter what guitar I play, I bring 2.

Been a full time pro for 30 years. Been playing for 42. I own a PRS, a Parker Fly, an Anderson Hollow T, a G$L ASAT, and Comanche. I know good guitars and I don't play junk. I was amazed at the quality of this guitar.
