Full size. Laminated top. Made in Korea. 'A series' is the lowest level of the line but even after 20 years it has no problem. Back and side are rosewood which means the sound fall a bit more on the bass side. Tuners are better than most entry level guitar I have seen. It seems to be using the ~$40 tuner you can find on ebay (Yamaha C40 uses the $20 type). Bridge seems to be using bone. I not sure it is replaced by original owner but at least it is not plastic. Neck is a bit thick. May be because I got used to the Godin series.

I found that putting a set of Savarez high tension on it really made a difference from the set of normal tension D'addario I originally tried.
Ever since then I have been using the Savarez on this. May be a bit over-kill for such a guitar but since it improves the sound.. why not?
If you use normal tension the sound will shift to more bass and thus kill the high notes (plus it uses rosewood on back and side it makes the bass stands out even more). High tension seems to fix this problem a bit. It is not a loud guitar but it is ok for home use.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Original action is pretty high. I fine tune it a bit. Finish is still great consider that it is a 20+ years old guitar. The original owner kept it in very good condition. The case he bought cost more than half the guitar's worth... Given that it is 20+ year old I really have nothing bad to say about this guitar. It is not great and you can't compare to the big boys but compare to present days entry level classical you get a lot more .

Tuner does it's job pretty good. I tune it and took it out 3 months it still stay in tune (try that with other entry level guitars). I am not gonna use it live so not sure about live performance.

If you want something cheap but worth the buck look no further. Good luck finding it. It is rare but doesn't mean it is awesome. It is not bad either so don't get me wrong. I will keep playing it and probably put in another 20+ years in it.
