Features : 10
PRS singlecut type (tremonti). Black, see through, glossy finish, mahogony, flame maple top, mahogony neck, wide fat type, 22 jumbo frets, ebony board with birds, gotoh prs type trem, two zebra supersonic p-ups, two vol, two tone pots with split, planet wave auto trim locking tuners. Case included. Made in 2006, Bangkok.

Sound : 10
I play mostly blues, rock, and sometimes wonder into somethig a little bit heavier... So, basically I wanted all in one guitar... Don't we all? I got everything you'd expect from a singlecut, and some more... I have rarely encountered p-ups that sound good when split...and these really have what it takes...with a little more fullness and punch. As hums, bridge is great, neck was a little bassy sounding at first. Then I adjusted the pole pieces the way i like, basically used the poles as EQ curve and got a little hollower sound. Playing with that more gives great possibilities of tweaking. Lots of sustain. I'm not a Les Paul/PRS type fan, and have always preferred clean sounds of Fender type guitars (single coils), but this one sounded great either way, clean or distorted. And it can withstand any amount of gain. They asked me what kind of pickups I'd like, and for what type of music, and said they'd make it that way. Afterwards I saw these on other atlas guitars. Same goes for wiring and pots, they made them the way I wanted.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action spot on, from the start. I have to mention, I work in India now, and climate here, being really humid during some periods affects some of the necks on my guitars. This one didn't need any readjusting. Neck didn't move a bit! Finish is great overall. The thing is I loved the way the back of aguitar looked like. Great black burst over the wood... I had one issue although it was probably my mistake. I ordered a guitar just 3 weeks in advance, and I was warned of a short time for finishing. They usually ask for 2-3 months for custom made ones... I wanted it fast...and after some time a few spots appeared on the back of the neck. A few air bubbles, small ones... And they said they'd correct that. Not that important, so I left it...

Reliability/Durability : 10
I'm not he one who takes care of guitars...just play'em... The same with this one. Everything's the same on it anyway... It looks great, plays great... I'd use it anytime, no backups required, unless you break strings (I don't). It is heavy though, if this is an issue to someone... But worth all the weight!

Customer Support : 10
I met Atlas guys, Andrew and the older man who actually does the work. Nice people... Everything can be arranged with them. No support needed so far, so... And, when I talked to them first and ordered the guitar, without paying anything in advance, just a few phone calls, I asked if these guitars sound the way they look... Andrew said, if you don't like it, when it's done, don't take it... They sure kept the word.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 20+ years (with some gaps)...and had a lot of good guitars, now a few Fenders (Beck strat, '62 cutom tele, a few custom made for me). I like Fender types now, but as always the case with Fenders is, takes time and effort getting them to work the way I like... It's either the p-ups, or the neck, or something else... Unless you go for a Custom shop... Tried even that, and unless you order it yourself, it's not the real thing... So why bothering, when for less money you get THE THING... Yes, I can get that from John Suhr, Anderson, etc, but at this price..? So I'm getting a Luxurious or Deluxe model from Atlas next month... And a few necks and p-ups for my Fenders...
