I bought this around 1973. We got into electric guitars and this was affordable, may be #19.99 in Woolworths. It was Wooley's own brand. (They didn't have any own brand guitars last time I was there.)

There were 2 Strat models, a model with a rounded neck at the body end and one with a squared odd end. The rounded one was the better model ands we had to search round the wolleys branches to find one.

Sound : 7
I played is through a large transister radio which seemed to give quite a good sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
As I said, the rounded neck version was the one to get. For the price it was great.

Reliability/Durability : 7
It withstood a lot of use and abuse.

Customer Support : 7
I haven't tried tpo take it back.

I have an Audition guitar bought at a Woolworth's in Lake Charles, La. in 1966... It has two pickups , three controls , and two tap controls. There is no other info on it but Japan on the back side neck plate and steel reinforced neck on the machine head. It is a Strat style with a fat neck and appears to be solid wood..I paid less than $40 for this guitar new

Sound : No Opinion
I played it through a Silvertone amp. It has a bright sound with great treble...I wished the neck were thiner and it started to fret near the upper end when I fretted near the machine head..I think I messed with the bridge too much...Also the machine head keys, which were plastic, broke on the E string .

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
See above

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I love this old guitar but you get whatyou pay for..The finish and the strap buttons are great but the pickups rested on a sponge type material that has crumbled over the years

I've played on and off for 40+ years..I'm not very good and never played professionally. I worked setup for bands in college years ago and got to play many first rate guitars, Strats, Firebirds,Les Pauls, etc.
I love this guitar and my acoutical guitar wihich is several years older, circa 1964, for sentimental reasons..I'll never be 18 again. At least not in this life ..........

I have no idea where it was made, it is a 2o fret guitar, laminated top, it has only a volume and tone control.

If you have any info on Audtion guitars email me at deanop_85@hotmial.com

Sound : 8
Well it has fret buzz on the B string but apart from that the sound is perfect. It has a fender like sound but not as good because it only has 1 pickup

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action is extremely low which is good for me, i adjusted the pickup myself it sound ok.

i bought this guitat for #50 second hand it is in really good condition, plays good.

It has a great looking black sides then goes to a sort of red colour around the middle

Reliability/Durability : 9
I sounds great.
Wel its lasted to 2002.
The finish is great.
Strap buttons are solid.
I can always depend on it.
No i wouldnt because the fret buzz on the B string makes the whole guitar sound a bit cheaper.
But it is ROCK SOLID!

Customer Support : 1
I have no idea where to contact the company, i dont think they're even made anymore.

Overall Rating : 9
I have been playing a year.
I wish i had asked how old the guitar was and info about it.
Well i wouldnt be able to buy iy again so i would be gutted if it where stolen or lost.
I love the body shape (strat shape) love the colours and the pick board, but i hate the fret buzz on the B string.
I wish it had more than 1 pickup! and a wammy bar.

I would'nt trade this guitar for anything its just great .
