Not sure what year it was made but I'm guessing as recent as 2007 or 8. I am not sure where it was made either but I think Indonesia maybe? 22 fretts, nice neck reminds me of an SG Standard.
A set neck like the SG and a body style like a PRS.
An absolute beuty to look at. Its got a sort of Flame maple top (ok, not as luxouious as a PRS) but nice! A Rootbeer color and not sure what the manufacter would call it.
Tune o-matic brige set up like a LP. Single tone/volume control w/3-position selector swith.
Wish it had the 2- volume and 2-tone controls like the LP but for $220, I can live with it.

Sound : 8
This guitar sings! Not quite like my LP but it sings! For the money I am more and more impressed the more I play it.
Pick-ups are quiet and decent output too which surprised me.
I play a Blues saraceno, Joe satriani, and Gary Moore type of rock & blues. This thing can handle any of this almost as well as the Paul.
I also do a bit of shredding in the Vinny Moore and Malmsteen styles. My mighty-mite strat is more suited for that stuff.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I bought it used and it was set up pretty good. I did set it up my way antway because I'm pretty picky about me set-ups.
The action is pretty damn good , not just for a $200 guitar but for any dollar amount guitar. Play real nice.
The finish is close to falwless. It really is a beautiful guitar. I'm still looking for faults in this thing but nothing so far.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I believe this thing will last a long time. Seems well built as if it came from the Gibson factory. Much nicer than any of the "Cheap" SG specials built there.
Solid Guitar!

Went on-line to check them out. Nice web site...but one big problem. I went to the "contact us" link and nothing. A blank page. Not sure if it's there fault or what but...Gave it a 5 because the web site is nice, and maybe there's another problem out there, I'll try again inb the future.

I have been playing for 30+ years and own a Gibson LP, Mighty-Mite Humbucker loaded strat and a tTylor acoustic, Carvin acoustic and an old Gibson classical.
I play Rock, fingerstyle, and have many different styles of these genres.
I would indeed buy another one if it were lost or stolen. I love the looks, playability, and VALUE! of this guitar.
Much bettewr guitar than the cheap PRS and Gison SG specials, much better. Save your money and get one of there. You would not be sorry.

Older model, 2 volume 1 tone control. PRS style body with Tune-O-Matic and stop tailpiece. Finish OK, no flaws, never be confused with a real PRS, but for the money, its fine. Had stock pups which I've since replaced.

Sound : 8
Currently playing through a Crate G212 and a Korg AX300. Play mostly "classic rock" with some country and 80's thrown in just to confuse people. Very versatile guitar. Like the two volumes to blend sounds. Good humbucker sound with just enough bite. Only dislike was not enough output for my tastes. I've replaced the stock pups with some Duncans (now this sucker SCREAMS). I could have left the originals in and the guitar would sound just fine

Here's what really surprised me, this guitar practically plays itself. I have a 1984 Telecaster Elite and this guitar blows my Tele away for playability. Wide-thin neck profile and low action. Only adjustment I'v made was to raise low E slightly to counter slight fret buzz when I went from 9's to 10's. Also lightweight, easy to wear for a couple hours and really comfortable feel while I'm playing it. Outstanding!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Haven't had it long enough to comment here (3 months). Everything seems to fit well and it appears solid.

I've been playing since 1972 and I'm not going to say this guitar is better than or as good as a PRS Custom (an SE...maybe). But this guitar doesn't have a $3000 price tag either. With that in mind, this guitar is an outstanding value. I paid $127.00 used, I've replaced the pup's with a Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge and a Duncan '59 in the neck, added Schaller strap locks and some Q-knobs (red abalone dome knobs...match the finish perfectly). All together, I've spent about $350 on this guitar and I would put it on a par with a Paul or a McCarty.

Indonesia, 2005. Quilted maple cap on light body (probably basswood). 1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way switch. That configuration is different from the older ones (Korea).
Cherry edges and amber center section ('cherry burst'). they should just make anice blackburst and sell a lot more of them!
'8' since it has very basic controls, but they are quiet. 1 truss rod cover screw missing... big deal. Switch was replaced by seller.
Hardware and tuners, bridge assembly are not bad and pretty well chromed and fitted. TonePros it ain't, but look at the price again!

Sound : 9
This is a versatile sounding guitar that covers most all styles from country and rock (bridge) to beach music and soul (middle) and rock or some jazz (neck). The quality of tone in the pickups is quite good and better than Epiphones and crushes the Santana SE. Unless you a pro or a purist, you will be impressed by the pickups. Mine is brand new, so the pickup height is all that is adjusted thus far. I will have it outfitted with an unbleached bone nut, action tweaked, and intonation set by strobe. That is when the polepieces can be adjusted and it improves the sound about 15-20%, in my estimate. A lot of guys miss this important step, but it is so easy and pays off! outside polepieces flush to the cover and the others follow the fretboard radius. One string sometimes needs more or less to get a best balance string to string. Use a hollow ground screwdriver blade and be careful
!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Action was nearly perfect, low, 1 small rattle on the B string. But it's well set up with flat fretboard and the bridge&tailpiece just not quite all the way down (allows more 'sing' and maybe takes away a bit of sustain, but not much). Fret ends are smooth and actually rounded and polished smooth. Decent tuners are smooth and hold tune well.

Reliability/Durability : 9
It's a well made guitar; about like a Santana SE and lighter and sounds VERY much better. The tone is remarkbly good and versatile for a guitar in this $ range. It appears well made and finish is neat and smooth gloss. The coloration is a bit 'cheezy', but it was about 1/2 the normal price.

Customer Support : 9
I own the ES335 copy an the SG copy (got it wuth hard case virtually new for $175) which is quite good, too! Sounds almost as good as my Orville by Gibson (Japan) SG oldie.
Rating is for the seller, who is easy to find on eBay. Remind him of the Richmond VA buyer of the Tour Pro!

Overall Rating : 10
'10' because it IS a fantastic value at $200, new even though it is not as attractive as a PRS. A guitar that sounds as good as a cheaper PRS (a real PRS...not the Santana SE), plays like one, and is 8 or 10 times cheaper? I'll take the money difference and live with the Austin.
