2005; 2 controls and 3 way; cherry burst; no case. Vener quilt top and probably basswood body. Not great looking colors, but nicel finish and well made in Indonesia.

Sound : 9
Remarkable for a $200 new guitar. Versatile from twang to LP sounds and better than most Epiphones and Gibsons under $1000. A bit trebly, but the potsand tone capacitor can be replaced for cheap. A VERY good sounding guitar

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Nice build and smooth finish and joints. No complaints about hardware or tuners. Not top shelf but they are easily available for $200 new and worth it. Plastic nut easily replaced with unbleached bone. Adjust the pickup tilt/height and tweak the polepieces to follow the radius to improve it noticeably.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Sturdy, kight, comfortable.

who cares?

Overall Rating : 10
a 10 for value; great sound; excellent factory action and comfortable all over. A poor man;s PRS but lighter... but not a crummy cheapo. Just inexpensive.

Mahogany body, beautiful quilted top, two volumes and one tone knob (like PRS guitars), made in Korea. 22 jumbo frets, two humbuckers, two piece set-in neck with dot inlays, close if not same as a Les Paul or PRS neck.

Sound : 9
Nice sound from the humbuckers, I do not have plans to change them. I may have a push/pull pot added to split the coils.

I have two of these one green quilted the other a sort or purple cherry like quilt. It is hard to beat these guitars for the price and quality.

I play hard rock, jazz and blues and these babies can handle them all. As I have stated already this model has two volumes and one tone knob, no toggle switch. Newer models havE one volume, one tone and a toggle.

I understand PRS did not like the two volume, one tone no toggle, so that is the reason for the change.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Came set up very well, no flaws in the finish of either of the two guitars. I like 10s so I had them both set up with 10s.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Solid axe, strap buttons and hardware holds of super. These guitars will stand up well to love playing.

Never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been plying for some time now. Would I buy another one if lost or stolen? YES, own two now as I mentioned earlier. They come in several other colors and I have been looking for them on E-Bay with the same I guess pre law suit two vol, one tone no toggle.

I had mine now for two years and it seems for now people are holding on to the pre-law suit models. I l like everything about these guitars.

If you are looking fro a good PRS Copy, then this is your axe.

I bought this guitar in 2004. made in japan with 22 frets. as far as features go: dual humbuckers, 2 vol., 1 tone. factory pickups were great sounding with plenty of crunch but i needed something a little more edgy so i replaced them with a couple of EMG-HZ. now, rockin hard. basically it's a prs, but personally i like the neck a little better. hey, it's what you like and what you don't right? other than that it's a basic guitar. fits me though cause i am more of a plug and play type guy.

Sound : 8
this guitar plays my style well, which is mostly hard rock. the emg's give it the tight sound i need. i am using this guitar with a mesa/boogie triaxis and a mesa 90/90 power amp, 2 mesa upright dual twelve cabs and some effects. it's never noisy, unless i want it to be! lol. good midrange, plenty of bight, back the tone down for some thickness and this thing fills the void. i like the sound but at high volumes it feeds back at times. not to bad though

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
i didnt have to touch the action. bought it and no complaints! cosmetically beautiful, and the only thing i would recommend to the company is a 3way selector switch.

Reliability/Durability : 9
have played live many times with it and it holds up very well. hardware is in good shape. i replaced the strat buttons with dunlop lockin system but the buttons were still solid before i did. very dependable. have played five live shows with no back up. don't need one.

i have been playing for about 15 years. i like this guitar very much as compared to others i have owned which include; fender, gibson, epiphone and jackson. this has to be my fav so far. i like the playability, and action of the guitar. sound is good but lacks balls. luckily my amp makes up for that. i am really in the market for a step up guitar. either a warrior or a gmp. will continue playing with this until then satisfied.

To put it breifly, this is an ARIA/PRS spin off. Made in Korea, this jem comes with blue quilt top finish. It has 2 volume, and 1 tone knob. Double cutaway, with a LesPaul bridge and tail piece design. All chrome hardware. Very similar to a PRS SE.

Sound : 10
This is one of the most versatile guitars I have in my collection. It has a warm anough sound to play a jazz gig, and still have plenty of crunch for rock/fusion/blues. I thought I would have to change the pickups, but after playing a couple of gigs, I have grown very fond of the ones it came with.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Although this guitar had finish flaws(I got it for a discount!) that I managed to polish out for the most part, everything else was fine. Playable with out doing anything to it. Although I prefer 1/2 round Stainless Steels, It still played nice. I of course had to make some final adjustment, but that occurs on almost every guitar I buy.

Reliability/Durability : 10
So far so good.

I have not liked a guitar so much since I lost my Aria ProII CS400. If I will never loose this guitar, but if I did, I would definitely hunt down another one. For a guitar in this price range, it is perfect for a person that play many different styles of music. I would give it a 10 if I could split the pickups, and it had a 3 way switch. PRS cost too much, try one of these!!!!! This guitar even plays and sounds better than the licensed copies.
