Features : 9
Korean made, 24 frets, 25.5 inch scale, maple top, maple neck-thru, eastern mahogany body.
Passive electronics, three-way selector, two volume controls, one master tone, H/H BDSM (BC Rich) pups. Ebony fretboard with jumbo frets.
I went with a 9 here because I think BC Rich could have gone with active electronics and better pups.

Sound : 10
Great variety in the tones. Clean setting gives
Even unplugged, this guitar sounds sweet. I've tried running it through a range of amps and even on the cheapest amp (old no-name tube deal) it dropped my jaw. Incredible articulation, big fat sound plenty of chunk and wild sustain.
It's also one of the best balanced and most comfotable guitars I've ever played.
I play a lot of blues rock. But the passive elcetronics and the stock pups offer a wide range of tones. I was thinking of switching the pups for Dimarzios. But I'm actually very impressed with the sound I'm getting at the moment.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I'm giving them an 8 because the nut that comes with this guitar isn't fit for a toy guitar. I don't know if it's the original because I got this as a demo model and I didn't see any others to compare to. But if that's factory spec then BC Rich should be ashamed. This is such a finely made guitar in every other respect. The fret work and finish are astounding for a Korean made. But that's only if you get super picky. Otherwise it's flawless. The volume and tone controls are a pleasure to use. Nice amount of resistance and control and a good range of sounds. The set up was the pits when I got it but I always expect to have my guitars set up by a pro. Once my guy finished with it, (action, intonation and graph tech nut) the action and intonation were perfect. In fact, I haven't picked up another guitar since I got the Eagle.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It's built like a tank and I haven't had a hitch live, but I'd never go without a backup.

Overall Rating : 9
I'll go with a 9 here because I still can't get over the nut. My set up guy thinks someone switched it after it came off the line.
Otherwise, it's one of the finest instruments I've had the pleasure of playing. I've played custom USA made's (by top name companies) that can't hold a candle to this axe. She's my main squeeze right now and I don't see that changing.
