2002,Chambered guitar, #92 of 100 NAMM special editions, 2 Airbuckers, split coil setup, one tone knob, Beutiful tobacco sunburst, dot inlays, Buzz F., awesome setup and attention to detail, great fretwork, weighs 5.75 lbs. I give it a 9 because it only has one tone knob, definetly not a big deal, did I say this guitar is gorgeous and FEELS marvelous!!

This guitar fits my humbucker chores amazingly well, everything from weddings and jazz solo/trio stuff to club work. My other main gtr is a Tom Anderson Classic T. This Baker sounds AMAZING, the guys and gals I work with have all commented on it's sound. It cuts very nicely with my Dr. Z MAZ 38 Sr. It has a very well balanced sound, smooth but still rockin', beautiful highs-not too harsh but very present and cutting. I LOVE the split coil option, sounds MUCH better than my past PRS, it opens the guitar up a bit and becomes a little more complex. I can't beleive how versatile and awesome it sounds. Humbuckers sound equally amazing, no mud, nice definition, bridge pickup screams, for me a good mixture of smooth/buttery but still rockin and cuts well. I don't hesitate to give it a 10 here.

Top notch!! No problems and I still have not sent it to my favorite tech for even a setup, now that is saying something, usually after buying a guitar I immediately have it checked out and setup to my liking. Action is a tad higher than what I am used to, but it just feels so great!!

I have been playing professionally for 14 years, presently I am playing full-time. I need a guitar I can wear for 4 hrs 3-5 nights a week due to a sensitive left shoulder. I am also sold on the Buzz system, which my Tom Anderson also has, it makes a BIG difference, a big plus for all settings, especially solo jazz work. The audience doesn't know, but you will and so will your bandmates. The fact that it is light, versatile(best split coil sounds, amazing tone pot, kickin humbers), has the Buzz and is the best sounding humbucker guitar I have ever owned thrills me to death!! I have owned and played so many others, I have been searching for this guitar for a long time. If something happened to it I would beg borrow and steal another one immediately!! I was not able to try it before I bought it, I had to take the leap of faith because no one around me sells them. I talked to Andy at Alpha Audio, he is very good guitar describer, I purchased my TA from them and was so happy with it I went back for seconds. Sometimes you make BIG purchases and you have to rationalize the time, money, and hope you invested, thus you can't help but say tons of glowing appreciations about your purchase. This is not one of those cases. I would gladly shoot this product down if it didn't meet all my expectations. Bakers are really amazing guitars. They surpassed my expectations and leave me wanting more Bakers. You have got to try one!!
