Ease of Use

Good execution, sturdy, consistent knobs. It's a clone of the alesis multimix 12r, with added benefits of more signal routing choices and onboard efx.
Onboard efx are quite usable and the interface is easy to learn. Sound is transparent and very usable. Construction is reasonably solid. No felt dust guards on the faders.
The metering is not fine enough to set up for unity levels. The pan and trim knobs make very gradual sweeps until the extreme ends, where the rate of change dramatically rises... hard to use.

Finally, it is very noisey. Line-in sources are usable, but the mic pre's are only suitable for 1-3 mics up at a time. More than that and the noise makes it difficult to use. I have another older board from them that is MUCH more quiet. Then I discovered something-- read the footnote on noise level in the specs section... they played a few games when they produced their Noise numbers.

I really hated to send it back, because for $200 it would have been good value. But even for a modest PA with 5 inputs this would not work. I purchased the Alesis Multimix12R. I miss having the option of onboard efx, but the 12R is a much better product.
