I Play rock and blues...AMAZING sound, very versatile, I bought because in this price range its much better than a fender strat. The tone will make u fall in love for it. this including a ts-9 or 808 will get u the classis blue sound.

ive had it over a year, and no problems. only the output screw went lose once.

never dealt with it, i have 2 years of warranty. no need of warranty with this guitar, unless you going to smash someone with....well perhaps u STILL dont need a warranty.

Ive had it over a year, its my first guitar, i tried many strats etc in the shop but this was better at my price range.If it was broken i was getting a new one, unless i have enough money and going for the high end 2000 dollar guitars.

It was made 2002-2003. I mailed the serial number to guys from www.bladeguitars.com and they did not tell where it was build. I think Japan or Korea. It has fender-like head, not this new, ugly that they put on new blades. Guys before me sad all other specs...
Guitar is very well build.
I gave 10 here because electronics are great.

I play rock and blues (Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Hendrix...). I use Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with Boss GT-6 and a crybaby. I have also Fender USA strat and a custom made ARIES (guitar not bass). With Blade you can get allmost every sound you want. Guitar sound great without electronics, but when you turn on The VSC you can get it all.
I gave 10 because blade kills my strat and my aries.

I can't find any flaws on this guitar. The bridge is great. I sometimes abuse tremolo and guitar stays tuned.

I play for 9 years and in this blade I found my number one guitar. It has a god clean, and with overdrive it kicks ass. I allways use backup guitars. If this one was stolen I would buy another one. The only thing I regret is not trying other blade guitars. IMHO this guitar is better than doublepriced fender, and I played alot of fender guitars.

I don't know when this guitar was made, however, it is immaculate apart from a couple of cracked pickup covers. the pickup configuration is: HB (Bridge, Single coil (middle) single coil (neck) Alder body with a maple cap in cherryburst, superb. Rosewood fingerboard with very accurate machine heads (gold plated as is all the metalwork) Bling or what? No idea what Bridge I have : hey I just play the thing and marvel at the range of tones I get. It came with 9's on; soon got rid of those whimp items, got some 11's on now orgasmotrophic.

This thing can emulate ANY sound. I use it with a Fender Champion, a Peavey Bandit and a Pig Nose. All different but, all good.

Plays like a dream, sounds great, no faults.

I have done so far, had it for nearly a year, gigged regularly, I prefer it over my Fender strat plus and Eggle Los Angeles. I would'nt do any gig without a backup, ever.

The guys in Switzerland are great, but I'm waiting for a reply from the UK rep as we speak (regarding the cracked pickup covers). No warranty with my axe, bought it second hand. Where do you buy a new Blade?

I am reviewing a Texas Deluxe model. Specs are Alder body with 3A flame maple cap. Neck is c shaped with vintage tint finish, dark rosewood board and well finished medium frets. Neck radius is 12 and nut width 1 11/16. Pickups are Levinson VS-1 neck and middle and LH55 Humbucker in the Bridge. Master volume and Mater tone control. VSC active mid and treble and bass boost mini switch.Typical 5 way pu selector with built in coil split on pos2. The guitar has an excellent finish and is cleanly built.

This is an extremely versitile guitar. The pickups sound just a little hotter than vintage and the combination S/S/H is perfect. One nice feature here is there is very little change in output between all pickups because of the active electronics. Very convincing strat tones and nice bold tone in bridge position. All pots and electronics appear to be high quality Japanese components and they work well. Played through several tube amps and no suprises good tones from all.The active pickups sound very convincing. Not as sterile as most active pu's. The VSC is an active boost for midrange in one direction and treb / bass boost in the other. You can adjust the frequency for unlimited pu sounds. A great custom guitar all around.

Flawless construction on this one. Very nice finish and high quality components throughout.Nice flame maple top with a lot of movement and flicker. The neck had a tad more relief than I prefer but with a little tweaking it is perfect and stable. Intunation is dead on up and down the neck. Sign of excellent fret placement and crowning. Factory set-up was best I have seen in a while. Came with Elixer 9's.

All components are high quality and construction is solid. I don't anticipate any issues here.

New instrument has only a 1 year mfg defects warranty. Only negative response I can give is that a longer warranty should be offered in this price range.

This is one of the best featured and built guitars on the world market. Not as well known in the states as in Europe and Japan.I have owned more than 70 modern and vintage electrics and have built and repaired numerous other guitars. The Blade Texas Deluxe is one of the best built and playing electrics available. IMHO it ranks in the class with the high end custom shop guitars from Fender, Anderson, Grosh and others. All outstanding builders and the Blades are a bargain for the price.
