Two high output humbuckers, 3 way switch, Tele body type but a little bigger.
I bought the white one that was on the Elderly site for a long time. It was the
only one they had. I was seduced by it's looks and I love Teles anyway. It's alder
with a set neck. Really nice Grover tuners, sort of tunamatic bridge. Slightly wider
fretboard than a Fender. Came with gig bag, wrench. Wipe cloth. I love Bigsbys too.
This one works very well but creaks like a barn door when you turn it. Coil tap works
well.
Sound
:9
The humbuckers roar if you want. Tons of warmth. A little on the dark side tone, great
for blues. Even the bridge pickup has warmth to it. Roll back on the volume and it evens out. Pull up the tone knob and you've got nice twang but little or no quack. This guitar sounds like no other in my memory but damn, it sounds vintage. I only use delay and
an 808 so I can't speak to other modern effects. It takes both of these well with a teaspoon
of mud when using the overdrive. Sounds like early Rolling Stones with the Hums, the split
coils sound twangy but unique. It's fun to play something unique and get new sounds.
Action, Fit, & Finish
:9
The set up was way too low with buzzes, fret outs on bends. Easily fixed by raising the
bridge wheels but I still have a weird fret out when I bend the 8th fret B string. Trying to
figure that out. I'd hate to have to raise the action too much to fix it. Fit and finish were
flawless. The ivory white body and perloid pickguard are beautiful. I told friends that the guitar was a give away when the Pope came to Yankee Stadium. Like hat day. It is so
pristine it looks like the guitar the Pope would play. It has a scallop all around the edge of the body, my wife says it is for sipping wine. The neck has a thick, dark finish that some
may find excessive, I like the color. Frets could be better, not crowned as well as a Fender.
A little rough when sliding up the neck. The neck radius is 12, may be too flat for some
and you do have to work a little harder, it'll just take a little time to adjust. The Grover
tuners are nice and were a hint about the quality before I ordered it

I'd play it live for sure 'cause it can blast out. This thing puts out sound. The flatter
neck radius is good for slide guitar which is what I'm thinking of using it for. I don't know
about the reliability, it's too new. The finish seems like it will withstand a blow torch.
I take care of my gear, I don't bang it around so I expect it will last. I always bring at least
two guitars to jobs for different sounds.

I've e-mailed Brazen a couple of times with questions. They got right back to me.
They seem eager to please which is good for a start up guitar company. That's all I know.

Playing and gigging a long time. Got a Gretsch Annie, Am. St. Strat, Tele Deluxe, Custom
and Thinline, and 3 pick up Les Paul, and Gibson 339. I like vintage sounds and the Brazen
fits right in. These Brazen guitars are a bargain at around $600. The pick ups compare
to my expensive axes. I like them better then the ceramic screamers on the Paul. I was lucky with this since I bought it blind on mail order based on the looks. I would have paid more
for a hard case. It's too big for a standard Tele case. My Fenders play easier, but you have to adjust to each new instrument anyway. When I was young I had no money so I played
junky cheap ones, got used to them and adjusted. Here's an old player's secret: a guitar
that has a tough aspect to it, (heavy, high action, or bad honk) can add an edge to your
playing some times. You can find the feel on most instruments with a little struggle.
The Brazen is no where near cheap and is easy to play. I hope this company is around for
a while. As I sniff the air, I can smell an Eastwood Airline Town & Country with Bigsby
lurking in the hedgerow. I'm happy with my Brazen purchase.

This Guitar has a Beautiful Vintage White Finish with Black binding going all the way up the blonde Maple neck.
The body style resembles a Tele, but it has a beautiful scallop...much like Mosrite.
It has two nice Humbucker type pickups that can easily be converted to single coil because of the Coil tapping knob that's built into the guitar. This makes it great for fat Les Paul type tones or twangy bright Strat like leads...without having to change guitars.
The Bigsby Vibrato is great too. It's perfect for the retro style that I play.
It came with a very heavy gig bag, that provides great protection for the guitar.

As I said, the sound of this guitar is great. I can make it sound like a Les Paul or a Strat because of the coil tapping.
That's a great feature.

When I got this guitar, I used it at a rehearsal, right out of the box. The factory set up was perfect. I did put heavier strings on it though.
The finish is beautiful....as nice as any Gibson I have seen.
And the white mother of pearl pickguard sets it off beautifully.

This is an extremely solid guitar.I have used it on the road this past year, and it was perfect at all times. I also flew with this guitar onboard, and it took the traveling very well.
This is one of the most solid guitars I have ever owned.

I have been playing for many many years, and I own many guitars. My Brazen Dynasty Vintage stands up to any guitar in my collection, and I own Ric's,Gretch's, Fenders, etc.
This is the first guitar I reach for these days.
It also sounds great in the studio. We are recording our next CD and I've been using the Brazen exclusively.
I also used this guitar on my latest solo CD.
If you have a chance to play this guitar,do it! You won't be disappointed!

The Brazen Dynasty Vintage model with a Bigsby Tailpiece is the ultimate "Retro" guitar.
With a body style like a Telecaster, and two Humbucking Pickups, this guitar gives me the best of both guitar worlds. Nice fat lead tones can be achieved, as well as Twangy 50's/60's tones. The coil tapping makes the pickups single coil just by pulling up the knob!
It's like going from a Les Paul to a Strat without having to take the guitar off!.
Witha set neck, the guitar is the most solid guitar I have ever held.
And the workmanship on this guitar is flawless. It has a beautiful vintage white finish with creme colored binding. The pickguard is a beautiful white mother of pearl, which looks beautiful against the white finish.
When I first recieved this guitar, I was amazed at it's beauty. I played this guitar right out of the box, with the factory set-up, and it needed no adjustments!
I have been using this guitar constantly, in the studio and on the road, and it always plays and sounds amazing.
I love this guitar, and hope to play more Brazen Guitars in the future.
