2001. Korean made. 22 frets, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Mahogany body, maple top. Mine is a natural tone. 2 Seymour Duncan double coil pickups. Fixed Bridge with RMC piezo/hex synth pickup. Roland 13 pin RMC in/output. Sperzel tuners. Chrome controls (magnetic volume, mag tone, piezo volume, 3 position pickup switch, synth volume, synth/both/magnetic switch, synth program toggle). Interesting output jack location in the upper back. 25.5" scale, 15" radius, so it's a little thin. Contoured body. If a Strat and a Hondo Longhorn had a baby, it would look similar to this. Includes a stereo cord and a 13 pin RMC cord. It will connect to any Roland 13 pin RMC product. Note: The last three controls listed only work with the 13 pin connection.

Versatile. If you can't make this thing sound the way you want too, you haven't tried very hard. With the stereo jack, it is easy to control the volume of the piezo and the electronic pickups. Mixing or isolating is not a problem. With the RMC hooked up, the sky's the limit. If you are clever enough (I'm not) and have a GR synthesizer or MIDI, this is a one man band. Granted, this is emulated electronic sound, but the ease of connection to the associated effect devices is rivaled by 2 or 3 other guitar manufacturers. And this is an electric guitar that takes advantage of new technology for sound reproduction. This is not a guitar for a purist, but if you want to have fun and experiment with a plethera of different sounds....

The factory set action was a little high, so I adjusted the neck almost immediately. The strings are a little close, but I'm used to that. Still, I would like them set a little farther apart. I do have a tiny buzz at the top three frets. This is probably due to my neck adjustment. I have a very good luthier, so I'm confident that will go away. Aside from that, it plays exceedingly well. It is reponsive and clean at the bottom. I'm playing 'Blue Steels' on it now, though I have changed the strings 5 times in the month and a half that I've owned it. I'm going to try the new Elixer's next.
The body is light, but not too light, like the Parker's. It's comfortable. Yet it has substance.

This is very well engineered. It's solid. It stays in tune even with new strings. The electronics are responsive and well placed. I have not had it long enough to have it break down, but I doubt I'll have too many problems.
