I thought maybe I was the only one who'd ever bought one. I picked it up on e-bay for $ 40.00. Don't know where it was made- no stickers? Same set up as the other review... two pickups, three way switch, two volume, two tones. Stop tailpiece. Mine is black. Not sure on the wood, other than it is wood...The whole guitar has a very light feel to it, even for a hollow body. The tuners and all the electronics are disposable.

I like to play alot of different styles. Whatever the mood brings...I have been collecting a variety of guitars to do just this. This guitar as it comes from the manufacturer is just a bad mood... I got it used so the guy who bought it didn't see any value in it.

Got it from someone else but I'm guessing they didn't mess with it. It was a very low end guitar. I had to change the nut because the original was so cheap. The tuning keys were merely ornamental, they went too. The pickups were almost like cheap microphones...The three way switch was a piece of junk. So if you're going to get one be prepared to change just about everything out. The feel of the neck though is pretty good and the action once it is adjusted is good also.

As it was it was not going to make it very far without problems. Would not stay in tune at all. Sounded awful and cheap electronics.

I've been playing for over 25 years. I own way too much stuff. After I changed out the pickups, the nut, the 3-way switch, the tuners, the volume pots and tone pots...It actually sounds really good. The guitar really has a good tone(somehow). It tunes and stays put. It intonated well and I was really pleased with the feel and sound and tone it turned out to have. For what I payed for it, even with all the modifications, I got a bargain and a nice surprise. So if you buy one be prepared to work on it, it's a diamond in the rough.

Sound wasn't great with the stock pickups. They were sort of muddy and didnt' have a very good clear sound. I switched them out for epi pickups, then for some boutiqes. Both sets made a huge difference! With the upgraded pickups the tone was wonderful, nice and full like a semihollow should be. Very versatile sound.

First guitar I got was pretty sketchy. The neck binding was a different color white than that other binding, and the bridge lugs were extremely loose in the body. Sent it back and got a replacement, which is a beautiful guitar. REALLY good set-up from the distributor. Frets were filed flat and action was set very low without any rattling. Part sof the finish could have been done better, and there were a few knots in the wood that you can see when you look at the reflection of a light in the finish, but overall an extremely good value.
This guitar has a beautiful neck. It's nice and thin, but rounded, and the fretboard has a really nice radius to it, about what you'd see on a strat (9-10 inches). The guitar feels a lot more playable than the epis i've had my hands on.

Hardware seems like it should hold up. The finish might be a little thin, but it hasn't gotten scratched up very much in the couple of months that I have had it. It's a great guitar, and I would play it without a backup for sure.
