12 String Custom Taw made to Custom Spec in 2001. Small bodied acoustic with spruce top and absolutley stunning birdseye maple back and sides. Five piece neck with similarly stunning flame maple centre. Body bound in abalone, fingerboard bound in ebony. Comes in Hiscox hardcase.
Sound

Sounds sweet and lush and lovely. I'm sure it will sound very nice with my other Brooks, a Tavy and a Torridge. I can't recommend these highly enough. Wonderful value for money, and you get exactly what you want.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Beautifully (hand) built, lovely action, low and easlily playable but with no buzzes or rattles. Intonation perfect. Perfect matt finish, very classy looking.
Reliability/Durability

Treated well, it'll last a lifetime and just get better and better. The matt finish is superb.

Andy and Simon are great guys, always willing to chat and discuss your requirements or whatever. Haven't made it down to their workshop yet, (they really do like people to come and visit) but hopefully I'll make it down to Devon soon.

My new guitar is just beautiful, I really couldn't be happier, and it's nice to be able to buy such a wonderful instrument from a small bunch of people who really care about what they do. I will most definitely order another. (Soon!) I know this review comes over as a bit gushing, but the guitar really is fantastic!!
