They keep dumping this review into Electric Guitars and I keep trying to put it into the Acoustics. Here we go again :)
Dreagnaught cheap Solid Spruce top. Glossy finish with beautiful Ovangkol back and sides (laminate, but looks good). The solid spruce top is kinda light in color, not as yellow as the expensive spruce, but looks good. Mine is not perfectly bookmatched, but I didn't care for the price. Tuners are gotoh-style, I suppose, work ok so far.
got it about 2 years ago when I had to sell my Martin D-15 (for financial reasons). Made in China, as expected.
These days one can get a guitar of this quality with built-in active pickup/preamp (and one should), but at the time I thought it was a good deal.
I added a Washburn EZ Romp internal condenser gooseneck mic to it and like how it sounds, very "expensive" sound :)
Sound

Nice, bright/deep sound, the solid top is not any expensive type spruce, but I suppose it helps. I used to have a Martin D-15 and while this guitar is different, I really like it. I prefer the warmer Phosphor Bronze strings on it whereas the warmer sounding Martin liked the bright 80/20's. I have yet to try the medium/light mixed gauge strings on it to see if it'll sound better.
What I like is that it doesn't sound thin or boxy like many laminated guitars up to $200-300 in the store. I recently had someone else play it in front of me and loved the sound!
I still think I'm in the process of messing with it, maybe will install a bone saddle and nut, still experimenting with strings (now using light gauge), but for the money I love it. I really don't want a "better" guitar, other than I really want other guitars, like a 12-string or a classical, but I would gladly get those in the same quality range.

As part of the purchase price SamAsh tech set it up, so it was set up well when I got it.
I've had expensive electric guitars (and the awesome Martin D-15) and I thought the fretboard was pretty well put together, beautifully bound and I can play on higher frets, it intonates well to my ears.
As I mentioned the top is not well bookmatched, but that's simply appearance and isn't that bad. The cheap plastic nut is just plain white plastic, which stands out from the handsome ivory-colored binding. Hopefully, when I get bone, it'll be ok. No other complaints right now.
Reliability/Durability

It seems fairly durable. In fact, this is what I wanted - a guitar I wouldn't worry about scratching (but it looks so nice I'm not trying to scratch it either!). It's now about 3 years and it's had it's occasional knock (while in the gigbag) and it's held up fine.
This is the plague of most acoustic guitars - no neck-side strap-button. I was gonna have one installed, but then just tied the strap with a lace to the headstock (no it will not harm the neck!) - this was cheap, easy and looks good. It's comfortable, too.

Been playing on and off for about 15 years. If it's lost/stolen, I would get a cheap solid-top SX guitar from Rondo Music, which also has a built-in pickup and great reputation.
This guitar, on top of "bang for your buck" has a great appearance and pretty Gibson-copy bound headstock and neck. I like it because it's not like "everybody's guitar copy", it looks different and pretty. I even want to say "expensive".

I think it had something like a lifetime Sam Ash warranty. Or maybe not :)

Chinese Taylor copy, bought new in 2004 or so. Solid Spruce Top (low-grade). This is a standard Dreadnaught guitar with nice binding, pretty wood color/finish and nicely shaped bridge and pickguard. Nicely appointed guitar for its price.

I picked it out of 2 of this model, it was better than the other one and better than any other guitar in the store under $300. It's a pretty standard sound, but nice, not boxy or dull, not twangy like all those plywood boxes. For the price this is the best guitar I could find and the best-looking too. It's a bit too bright with 80/20 Bronze strings so I'll switch to Phosphor Bronze (I like Martin SP and want to try their new Fingerstyle SP's).

It has nice finish. It had a fret-buzz up the neck, but the store tech fixed it easily, no problems since. No flaws. I'm getting ready to put in a sideport, internal mic and bone saddle and nut, but that's beside the point.

Looks nice and dependable as far as acoustic guitars go and at this price I don't worry about scratching it. I've dinged it slightly a couple of times, but no visible damage. Tuners have a solid feel and work fine so far (2 years).

N/A. I'm sure there was a warranty, maybe 6 months or a year or was it lifetime from SamAsh? I haven't needed it. I'm pretty sure it's a lifetime, though.

I've been playing for about 14 years on and off. My previous guitar was a Martin D-15 solid mahogany dreadnaught, which I loved but had to sell for financial reasons. I don't miss it that much with this guitar, it sounds pretty nice to me and should sound even better after some mods. If it was lost I would likely be forced to buy another cheap solid-top guitar from RondoMusic.com - Sam Ash doesn't have these anymore. I would likely get a cutaway dreadnaught with built-in pickup if I could find a solid-top at a decent price. Maybe a Seagull or something like that. Or a Washburn.
