Typical Les Paul sound, from stock pickups that are more than adequate. Each of the 3 positions give a distinct sound.

The finish on this guitar is near flawless, and the factory setup was excellent at the nut but needed intonation at the bridge. The orangish flamed maple top is as visually striking as any PRS 10 top!

The tuners feel very flimsy, but so far hold tuning well. This is the weakest point of the guitar.

Run to Sam Ash before they run out of this guitar. For $200 you get a gorgeous flame top, set neck, quality guitar that compares favorable with any Gibson Les Paul -- no kidding. It has nearly the sustain of an LP, especially at the infamous 12th fret of the G string. Very few guitar sustains that well at that problematic location. This guitar was designed by Jeff Mezzrow, a European blues/rock not too well known in the US, and thus the model's name Mezz. This is just a phenomenal bargain. Mine is in lustrous orange flame. They also make a faded dull cherry that looks like crap. If it came in lustrous cherry flame I would have bought that, too. For $200, you bet I would have.
