This is what astounded me, and everybody else at sam ash that day. My friend kept handing me guitars to try out and when I hit this one every guitarist in the shop came over to hear it. Granted I was playing thur a Line 6 HD 147 but dam it really sounded good.. All of us were amazed at the price.. Needless to say I stopped looking and bought it. Ive had it for over a year now and it still sounds hot, all im using with is is a line 6 spider and a fab flange and a dod chorus pedal. Hormonics are easy, and it has a rich and sweet sound. Really guys i couldnt ask for more.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Well my guitar wasent setup very well at all. The Intonation was off.The frets werent dressed, the pickup werent set right and inspite of this it sounded good. lol. The finish was pretty good when i bought it and still is.Overall quality id say is really good well worth the money..

Reliability/Durability : 9
Well it already has stood up to live playing, the finish is holding very well. Ive had no problems at all with the guitar at all.. Its been very dependable and ive never needed to touch my backup guitar at all.

Customer Support : 5
Well thats the kicker if you buy anything from Sam Ash always buy the exteded warrenty otherwise they wont talk to you about anything concerning your purchase. That kinda sucked but ive been playing for over 20 years so i pretty much know what to do about things and how to maintain my own guitar. I wasent impressed with Sam Ashs support at all. as i said buy the extended warranty or your going to be in the cold.

Overall Rating : 10
Hummm ive been playing over 20 years, Ive owned many fenders, electras, even a couple of real Les Pauls and in my opinion id say this is one of the top guitart ive owned. I wish I could buy it again last time i was at Sam Ashes i went to get another one for my son he wanted one but they didnt carry it any more.

It's a great guitar. Sounds like my Les Paul Gold Top.
I use a Marshall 100 watt amp. and a Fender 65' reissue.
It's quiet on all settings like my Les Paul.
It's sounds are almost identical to my Les Paul.

Wasn't set up from the factory as far as intonation.
Pickups weren't set to the optimum height.
Bookmatched top is BEAUTIFUL! Routing is PERFECT!
Fretwire wasn't dressed very well, but it was easily fixed.
I am impressed with the materials and workmanship of this guitar for the price.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is built well... as well as any new guitar made.
The hardware seems like it'll hold up reasonably well over the years.
The finish is good enough to last, but I found a place that needed a little rubbing, but it was easily fixed.
I've used in on many gigs without any problems. I feel I can trust it.

Customer Support : 10
There isn't any customer support from Brownsville. Sam Ash are great to deal with and can't imagine haveing any problems with them.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing since the early 60s' and have owned many guitars and amps. Marshall, Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, Dobro, Ampeg, Sunn, Hiwatt, Mesa Boogie, blah blah blah.
These guitars are a Great value! I'd buy another one in a second.
You can't go wrong buying one of these guitars... they look, sound and play Great and are Very inexpensive!
