This is my #1 Death Dealer. Transparent Orange Top, Matching color neck, Arch top 24 frets. Aboloid Inlays. Two hums with coil splitter, just balls out. Horrible set-up though. The wilkinson type
trem was not set up properly and the nut was CROOKED. Saved up some
bread, had the Floyd Rose and Buzz Feiten tuning system put on and
WHOA!! Just a great instrument suitable for any style. You can check it out at myspace.com/christopherglennbateman. Just put the Roland GR-20 synth unit on it. I'm losing my mind

Sound : 10
Very Dynamic instrument. Big tone. I never bothered to change the pick-ups. I get growling lows, and brillant, soulful highs. The Buzz Feiten also ensures no dead spots, so every note is Gravy. Currently using a Fender ultimate Chorus Combo with a Tube Screamer, Li'l
Gator Volume, Weeping Demon Wah, Ibanez D7 Delay, Boss tremolo,
Boss Multi prommamable EQ, Boss Noise Filter, Korg Tuner, Shure Wireless, SBK Pedal Board and conditioner George L cable and fittings
and Roland GR-20 synth. Killer tones, clean, zero buzz, Gnarly sustain. I am blessed with a great rig. I love it all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Factory set up was Garbage. Nut and bridge were set up horribly.
Frets were smooth with no filing so that was a plus. Had the pickups
set up when I had the Floyd and Buzz Feiten installed. The guitar had the MOJO so I didn't mind dropping the bread.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The fiddle is awesome live. It takes a lick well. I put Schaller locking strap buttons on it so it's solid. As long as I put new strings on it, it's good to go for ages. I don't even think I've snapped a string on it since I had the Floyd installed. If I didn't switch back and forth between tunings it would be the only geetar at the gig

Customer Support : No Opinion
See above statements on Floyd Rose and Buzz Feiten. Never dealt directly with Brownsville. Someone at Sam Ash told me they're discontinuing Brownsville due to inconsistencies in their products.
Pull it together girls. You can build a good instrument. That's called Quality Control

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing 19 years. I own way too much stuff to talk about. (Obviously, I ain't married.) As far as it being stolen, I don't even think about it. Take all my gear. I can replace it. This instrument is one a kind to me. I would like to see BC Rich and Gibson make an identical model for me. Start saving the bread.
The only thing I wish it had would be maybe the Fernandez Sustainer,
but I ain't messin' with it. Maybe when I have the model rebuilt by someone. That and Neck-Through Body

Beautiful red/orange top neck and headstock. 2 humbuckers,3 way switch wit a switch to split the coils. Has a battery with a pot inside to adjust the tone(way cool) Has a wilkinson style trem, one tone and one volume.

Sound : 9
This thing sounds great. Split the coils and you have a tele sound. Hummers are powerful. I plugged it into a vox ac30 in the store and bought it on the spot. It really quiet and the pot in the cavity lets you dial in a cool single coil sound. To the guy that didnt like it, oh well your deaf. Its worth twice as much.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect, no problems what so ever. The trem stays in tune even with dives!

Reliability/Durability : 10
2 years still going strong.

First of all let me say the guy that reviewed this guitar below is a complete idiot and a liar. I doubt he even owned one of these based on his statements... by the way, it's Sam Ash... not Samuel Ash.

Anyway, this guitar costs waaaay more than $200, and the reviewer below has no clue about guitars... his mistakes in describing this guitar are as follows: he states, "design of the guitar sucks my ass"... What does that even mean??? The design is as good as it gets. Plus, he states he doesn't even like electrics... how can you even begin to trust his opinion when he only likes acoustics? He probably hasn't even played or owned more than a hand full of electric guitars. Also, the humbuckers have no "buzz"... additionally, without a locking nut or locking tuners (Sperzel style), this guitar, and every other guitar out there will NOT stay in tune when using the whammy bar a lot... and lastly, if the action is too high (as he stated), it only takes a minute or two to lower the action... again... he's an idiot.

The features are: two ceramic humbuckers, Wilkinson floating or flat bridge, Mahogany body, Flamed Maple Top, Cream binding around body and neck, Hard Maple neck with tiger stripe flames on fretboard (awesome looking), tiger stripe flamed headstock... also has a small two-way toggle switch that will give the humbuckers a little more twang... similar to a Strat.

Sound : 9
The sound is awesome! This is not what I would consider a metal sounding guitar with the stock pickups, however, they do get pretty meaty. It definitely works for rock, classic rock, blues, punk, country, etc. In other words, it's very versatile up to metal.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect straight out of the box... period!

Reliability/Durability : 10
Feels as solid as a Paul Reed Smith... 'nuff said.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never needed any customer support on this guitar so I can't comment here... but I think Brownsville is a division of Samson Electronics.

Overall Rating : 10
I've owned everything from cheap Chinese imported guitars ($99) to Fender Strats, to Les Pauls, to expensive Paul Reed Smith Artist series (retail=$4,000 plus)... literally about 40 to 50 different guitars over the 15 years I've been playing, and this guitar will never be sold out of my collection. It's unique. It's beautiful. It has character. Not everyone owns one either. If you can get your hands on one of these, you'll never let it go.

But ill give it this... the asthetics of it was amazing. It is hands down one of the nicest looking guitar's I have seen. However due to some major problems in the design of this guitar... basically it sucks my ass.

Sound : 7
I have no style for electrics... I like acoustics, however I wanted to broaden my horizons and this guitar looked killer. However since this guitar is the 101 with the humbuckers there was little buzz which was ok.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
Ok heres the meat and potatoes of this critisism. Due to the shitty quality of the whammy bar i couldn't make this guitar stay in tune more than 3 strums to save my life. It was absolutely ridiculous how little this guitar stays in tune. Also as I have said before the action was much too high.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I didn't have it for long... I traded it in for a Epiphone SG.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Don't buy this. Save your money and buy a mexi-strat.
