The rlc-70s is a Gibbo Les Paul Custom copy with a Floyd Rose system and a sustainer pickup kit. This one is black with aged white trim. I think this one was made in 2007 in China, but apperntly all Burny guitar's are put through Japanese custom's to make sure they are up to the quality they should be. It's definately one of the more recent one's due to the three screw truss rod cover and the strange headstock inlay (apposed to the old school split diamond lightening bolt).

There are two volume knobs, one for the sustainer humbucker pickup and the other for the stock bridge humbucker pickup, alongside two switches, one of which controls the "sustain" function, which works flawlessly holding any note you play for all eternity, the other is the "feedbacker" switch, which, when flipped at the same time as the sustain switch, will convert any note sustained into a fed-back pinched harmonic. All are pumped through some nice and neat active electonics. Awesome!!

I have a feeling the body is mahogany, but don't take my word for it. Rosewood neck is seamless and lovely. The tuner/machine heads are standard stock but because of the locking nut that comes with the Floyd Rose, it doesn't really matter. Nice fat neck with jumbo frets etc.

The headstock inlay has changed in the recent years to, what looks like, a planet with wings!!! Not as good as the old inlay, but this can be covered easily with a headstock veneer. A couple of the parts needed replacing from new due to the slap dash-ness of them, i.e. scruffy volume knobs, nasty looking scratch plate, pickup selector ring... mainly a few of the plastic parts, but all can be bought for under ??20 and has no affect on the sound of the guitar.

Sound : 10
I play any type of rock, any type of metal, and any type of punk, this guitar can handle them all plus more. The clean sound is lovely and crisp, not too much twang, not too much bass, just sat right in the middle, rich and full. Dirty it up with a little distortion and now your talking!!! It delivers a real powerful cruch with no muddy-ness or lack in quality. The bridge pickup has been compared to a Seymour Duncan JB, and I must say I now know why. It sounds just the same, if not better. The duncan can get muddy at times, but this doesn't buckle under the pressure at all.

I'm using the guitar through Line 6 Geabox Gold bundle on a Sony VAIO and out of some M-Audio BX5a's. Sounds great!!!! No unwanted noise from the guitar. When it's not plugged in you can here it resonating through the cavity in the back for the Floyd Rose but that has no ill affect on it when it's plugged in.

As far dilikes go.... I have none!!!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I had it setup by Red House Music before I got it so it was set up great (can't really comment on factory setup). Couple of parts were a bit messed up like I said earlier, otherwise no flaws on it as far as I can see, Action is fine, no scratches, no dings or dents. Just fine.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar will withstand live playing for 100 years and beyond!! It is solid as a rock. The hardware will last and the finish will hold it's own against any Gibbo any day. I depend on this guitar solely with no back-up. it is fantastic. Take my word for it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing near 7 years. I have had three Epi's and played on various Gibson's such as an SG gothic and a Les Paul Standard plus. I asked everything I needed to before buying this guitar and I haven't been let down. If it were stolen or lost I'd definately replace it.
