2001 C. Fouke Industrial Combat X. 22 frets. Made of Aluminum 6101 with a black phenloic resin core built to my design specs by Chris Fouke www.industrialguitar.com
There are double humbuckers in this, both are also of Chris' design, called "FrankenCoils". 3 way switch. Passive electronics. Neck is a common 3+3 Gibson-style neck. The finish, combat, is amazing and I will go into more detail on that later. It is an Explorer-type body style, which I love more than anything. It is a hollowbody guitar but can get a warm, rich clean sound or a crunch to die for.
Sound

My style of music ranges from metal to industrial to classic rock to pretty much any type of rock, and occasionally a blues tune or some classical. This guitar is so diverse it can cover anyone of these styles and more. I like everything about the sound, you can't beat it, and I've had lots of experience with guitars.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action, pickups, and everything else about the body came perfectly. Chris takes great care in building these guitars, so he would never let them be damaged during shipping (yeah, even so, it would take a freaking tank to stop this guitar!) The finish is awesome. It's called "combat", which is a bunch of randomly scratched up areas on the guitar painted over flat black, which is perfectly beautiful for this instrument.
Reliability/Durability

This guitar will withstand abuse like nothing I have EVER SEEN BEFORE. Never has there been a guitar this strong and never will I give this one up. I would play this guitar without a backup when gigging.

I've never dealt with a company thats easier to deal with than Fouke Industrial Guitars. Chris is the easiest guy to deal with and I would love to deal with him again.

I have been playing for about 3 years now and I have played everything from a Gibson Les Paul Elegant to a Synsonics. This guitar tops them all. I wouln't give up this guitar in a million years. Never heard a sound as perfect as this guitar gives. If it was stolen or lost, I would beat the crap out of whoever took it and have Chris start on a new one right away. I love everything about this guitar, the finish, the sound, everything. When I first ordered this guitar, I was nervous about spending the money on an instrument I've never played, but now I even have my friends jealous. This is a definate lifetime keeper.
