This is a 2000 C Fouke Industrial "FoukeRite" Mosrite Ventures style guitar that was custom made for me by Chris Fouke in Benton Ill.
The body is Aluminum 6101 sandwiched around
phenloic resin core, and fixed together with bolts. It has 1 vol, 1 tone and a 3 way switch. Chris will put whatever pickups you want into your guitar, I chose a Duncan Invader at the bridge and a Jackson quad -rail at the neck. The Guitar neck is a 22 fret maple neck with a rosewood board. 3 on a side sealed generic tuners. The bridge is a schecter roller bridge, and the guitar sports a Bigsby tremelo system. The frets are a medium, and the neck plays really well. The body style is that of a Mosrite "Ventures" model.....only made of metal, not wood. The finish is Chris' 3D swirl finish with a plain mirror polished pickguard (this guitar really dosen't need a pickguard, you're not going to scratch the finish, but it looks cool!)

Sound : 10
I play mostly play blues and hard rock, and this guitar is perfect. However, it can do much more. I'd be curious to see how different pickup combinations sound in these Industrials, single coils, taps etc. I chose the pickups I did because of the music I play, and they sound great in this guitar! I was concerned that the guitar would feedback due to the construction (mostly hollow) but it has less feedback than my Les Paul Custom (which weighs a ton!) I am running this guitar through a variety of amps, depending on the music...mainly a Marshall JCM800, a 75 Fender Twin Reverb lining out through 2 leslie rotating speakers, and a 64 Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb. It sounds great through them all. This guitar begs for the Marshall though. Sustain up the wazoo!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The guitar came set up well....but I have my guy set up all my guitars, he really just had to tweak it, file the nut a littls and drop the action a couple of turns. Like I said, the guitar was set up well, and may have been perfect for some people...but my guy has set up all 17 electrics I have, and knows how I like the action. The pickups were adjusted perfectly. The 3 way switch isn't as smooth as I'd like, but I'll break it in. The neck and tuners were a pleasant suprise.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is extreamly durable....it's Metal! You could throw it off a bridge, and it would still play! This is a fantastically made work of art, and beautiful to look at! The hardware seems like it will last (although I may replace the tuners at some point) the finish will never fade, and unless you take a blowtorch to it I can't imagine you could harm this beast. The strap buttons are mounted solidly, and the Bigsby and bridge are top shelf. You can definately depend on this guitar...it should last forever. It's my most solidly built guitar, and I own Gibsons, Fenders, Mosrites, Jacksons, Ibanez's you name it.

Chris Fouke is an absolute joy to deal with!!! I saw an auction on ebay for one of his guitars and I was intrigued. I emailed him to ask a couple of questions....and the rest is history. Chris and I kept in constant contact in regards to the design, hardware, options, etc. Chris also sent pictures via email of the guitar in progress.....that was totally cool! Chris takes great pride in his work, and I know if anything ever went wrong, he would take care of me. 10+

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for over 20 years, and have played and owned just about everything. This ia a totally unique looking and sounding guitar. This guitar sounds absolutely HUGE, is very LOUD and sustains beautifully. It also sounds great unplugged due to it being hollow....and my next Industrial will have soundholes. What I love most is the tone and the look.....this guitar impresses on both counts. If it were stolen, I'd have Chris build me another, I love it. I also plan on having more Industrials in the stable in the future. Great guitar!
