This is a 2001 Industrial Stealth (in the style of an SG) handmade by Chris Fouke out of Illinois. It's a 22 fret neck, with a body made of aluminum, with a hollow black core. There is a 3 way selector for the 2 humbucker pickups, a Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker in the bridge position, Seymour Duncan SH-1 ?59 Model Humbucker in the neck position, these are passive pickups. The neck is a Raven brand, Maple/Rosewood 25.5? scale neck. The finish is brushed aluminum. It's got a Schaller Stud mount bridge, came with a gig bag. Also has steel strap thingies.

I play it through a Marshall Combo amp, and it sounds incredible. It sounds incredible not plugged in at all. I play through a regular Marshall overdrive distortion and it sounds full and mean. Then clean, on the neck pickup, it sounds beautiful. I really can't say that I would change a thing about how this guitar sounds. I seem to get a little more feedback with this guy than my other guitars, but that's fixed easy enough with a Noise Gate or something of that nature.

I have never in my life played a guitar that feels as good as this one. I don't claim to have played guitars for 20 years or anything, or even be a great player, but I've played Strats to BC Rich's to Les Pauls to Jacksons to Ibanez and so on and so forth, even the super expensive ones in the stores they have to take off the top level for you, and nothing plays as nice as this one does. Chris has this guitar set up perfectly. I can not think of a better word than perfect. As far as the finish, honestly, the pictures do not do it justice. This is a beautiful guitar, it really is. Go to www.industrialguitar.com to see pictures. Once again, never in my life have I played something so nice.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Well I haven't had it long enough to know if it stands the test of time, but honestly, the thing is made of metal, I don't worry about it. It feels solid as a rock. And I imagine if I had any problem Chris would find a way to fix it or help me do it myself. I would depend on this guitar as much as I could any one I've had for a short period of time. Again, the finish, metal, don't worry about it.

I've dealt with Chris for about a year now. He sold me another non industrial about a year ago, and is by far the most honest, helpful, friendly guy I've ever dealt with. I'm not just talking about guitars here, in any sort of consumer fashion. There's no official warranty, but deal with this guy, and you can be sure the thing's guaranteed for as long as you want it to be. Do yourself a favor, check out his website, and deal with this guy, I PROMISE you won't be sorry. www.industrialguitar.com

I will never ever in my life get ird of this guitar. If something happened to it, I would certainly ask him to build me a new one and gladly pay for it. Whatever you pay for one of these, it's worth at least double, probably triple. It sounds beautiful plugged in, not plugged in, clean, distorted, anything. My lord. What a guitar.

This is a 2000 Stealth Industrial built by Chris Fouke.
It's construction consists of two aluminum plates secured
to a phenolic core by means of cap screws which run around
the perimeter of the body. The pickups(H/H)are EMG select
series. It has 1 volume and 1 tone with a 3 way selector
switch. The neck is great, maple/rosewood with a satin finish.
It has a adjustable bridge and sealed machine heads.

I play heavy alternative music and my main instrument has been
a Les Paul until now. The Stealth has become my favorite guitar
for many reasons. I use it mainly in the (3 way) bridge position. It has a very full sound with very good bite! I use a JCM900 for my main amp, and the Stealth brings the best out of it. I play alot through an old Randall Challenger also, the Stealth sounds great through it! The neck pickup is a little hotter than the bridge position and sounds great! I like plugging directly into my Randall and playing clean on the neck position, very warm! All in all...Sounds great!
of punch

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
It came set up very well. The action was perfect, low and no fret
buzz. The finish is brushed aluminum, and looks great. The guitar had only one very small flaw that I could find (on the back close to where the neck meets the body), and like I said it was very small, unoticeable without very close inspection. The body is also contoured unlike most of the other industrial guitars, it looks great and feels great!

Reliability/Durability : 10
It's metal! It will definitely withstand all I can put it through!
Hardware is solid, the finish cleans up real easy with Windex, the strap buttons are solid, very tight!

Customer Support : 10
I have not had any trouble out of the guitar, but I feel certain that Chris would be ready to do anything that was required to keep this instrument in perfect working order. He always reaponds to e-mail very quickly, and has answered many questions for me.

I have been playing guitar for 18 years, and I have owned a wide variety of instruments. Now I am down to my '63 Gretsch Tennesseean, '79 Les Paul Silverburst and my '00 C Fouke Industrial Stealth. The Stealth just has so much character, it's so different! I cannot imagine any of my guitars being lost or stolen, but if my Stealth was...I would call on Chris to build me an exact replica for a replacement! I bought this guitar on his website www.industrialguitar.com, it was an incredible value and I am extremely grateful to Chris for his dedication to creating something so excellent! I intend on purchasing another very soon!!

This is a 2000 Stealth model made and assembled in Benton, Il. by Chris Fouke. The neck on this guitar is a 22 fret Modulus graphite neck. The body material like all Industrial's is made from two aluminum plates seperated by a plastic material leaving the body hollow. The finish has been polished to a mirror shine. The electronics in this guitar were taken from an Ibanez. Pickups are S/S/H and are passive EMG's. They are controled by one volume and one tone with a push/pull coil tap switch for the bridge humbucker in the tone control. Each pickup also has it's own on/off mini switch. Tuners are Schaller sealed and the bridge is a Schaller bridge/tailpiece combo with micro tuners. The body style is like that of an SG. All parts have a black finish and the body is held together with a row of black cap screws running along the outer edge. This really is a nice looking guitar!

This guitar is capable of a wide range of tones and would do a wide variety music styles. Best of all it has a very full sound for an electric. I am currently using a Crate GFX-212 with 2 / 12 inch speakers and have it driving an additional 4 / 12 inch speakers in a half stack cabnet. The amp has digital effects built in and works well with the guitar. There are no noise problems at all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The set-up on this instrument was perfect. Action was low as I like it with no fret buzz at all. I have not adjusted the pickups as of yet because I'm very happy with the tone balance the way it is.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Like the other industrial's this is a solid instrument. It's a little heavy due to the graphite neck by it doesn't weigh much more than my Les Paul. The strap buttons are Schaller lockers and the finish is aluminum buffed to a mirror shine. I would not go to a gig with out a back up so I would mose likely take along another of my Industrial's

Customer Support : 10
I have purchased several guitars from Chris Fouke and have not had a problem with any of them. I am sure however, that he would correct any problems I might have.

Overall Rating : 10
I know that glowing reviews should be few and far between but I like everything about this guitar. I had Chris custom build two guitars for me. The Indy 9 I hand picked most of the hardware myself to have him build my dream guitar which he did a fine job of. At the same time I sent him some parts I picked up fairly cheap and figured what the heck, I'll have him build a second one as well. As it turned out, this guitar is the best sounding and playing Industrial I own! If you have an old guitar with good sounding electronics and good hareware, this is a great way to breath new life into it and create someting better than it was when it was new!
