Bought this in 1984, it was second hand then from a music shop in Guildford, it was a Fender Jazz copy bass, and was really well made,
# twin pick ups,
# 2 x volume and 1 x tone controls,
# maple neck
# The neck is fully bound and straight, with little fret wear
# with a brass nut.

It sounded and felt just like a fender, if not cosmetically looking better

Sound : 7
Typical Fender jazz sound, and very woody when you wanted to wind it up, lovely tone control as well.
Used it through a 100watt Laney valve bass amp, and this jazz really came into its own, keeping perfect tune, with a rich tone

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Wow, action was nice and low, no buzzing, it was well balanced weight wise, and really well set up.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Never had a problem, very dependable, didn't need a back up for gigs, excellent

Customer Support : 9
Never needed it

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing it all the time, never ever seen another one of its kind
