Resonates/Sustains 8 for 10. A little more bassy than most Classical Gtr's, but that enhances it's use for other formats imo.

The top has aged to an appearance of Cedar & the Mahogany has taken on a Walnut patina through the years. Gold lyre strip & Pearloid tunes have held up fine.

I like everything about this guitar and realize why those who used to own them, have posted such fond memories of them. It is the kind of instrument that encourages and rewards you every time it is played. I had narrowed my choice to a Hofner HF-15 & The Conn & while the H. had a slight edge (in being conventionally neutral sounding) the $305 difference couldn't be justified. I made my choice & never looked back. I see these on Ebay around the $100 range & they are a great value for $ spent.
