If you go by the Y=year/W=week of year serial number code this guitar was made around March of 1978. It was made in Japan. It has 20 frets. Solid-Top. I'm really not sure about the type of wood(s) or the finish that this guitar consists of. Dreadnought. The Tuners and Bridge are just like your average acoustic. Thin neck.

I like arpeggiating quite a bit... so this guitar is great for that type of thing. I think it's mainly due to the tone of it. It's really grand. It has a very bright sound. This guitar doesn't sound that great if you strum really, really fast. Most people don't strum very fast on acoustic any way.

The action is perfect. Everyone agrees with me on that. The only flaw this guitar has is a slightly (and I mean SLIGHTLY) off-balanced Bridge. It doesn't affect the guitar's sound too much.. but a little.

I'd use this guitar for any necessary purpose. It seems like it's put together well. It's dependable.

When it was given to me the Bridge was cracked in two! I didn't get it fixed at first, but then the time came in which I needed a guitar so I decided to get the Bridge fixed. It ended up costing $50 and I don't regret it at all.

This is the best acoustic I've ever played... and even though I've only been playing for 5 years, or so, I've played quite a few guitars. I wouldn't trade it, or sell it. If it gets broken I'll get it fixed (if possible). If it gets stolen I'd probably just get another guitar. What can you do in a case like that?
