Great sound from rock to blues to jazz.Darker sound than the UK-1 more gibson like.Excellent allround guitar. The HB pickups are coil tapped so you can get single coil pickup sound as well.Versitile and fast playable neck.

The detail on Dean Campbells guitars is second to none and since i bought my preix i rarely use my Gibsons like the 61 SG and the Les Paul as the preix can outdo them all.My finish is deep red like a classic SG and the rosewood neck is built much like the Red Special brian may guitar.

I have over 25 guitars and both my preix and uk1 are my `Go To` guitars. The body on the Preix is a little small though i would like to see bigger body sizes availible...as i am 6`2 AND 200 LBS and this body is too small for bigger guys.Other than that pet peve it is my main guitar for live and also recording.I have played for 30 years now and have waited that long for the preix to come along.

Greene and Campbell Tiger Maple Precix, now known as Campbell American. This guitar has 2 AlnicoII Duncans in it with a blend knob and coil tap. This is my first G&C, now I have 3 and plan on getting another. This one has a flame job to die for, it is just perfectly matched unlike no other.

The sound of this guitar is just outstanding, you can get nice clean jazz tones, or les paul tones (although it does blow away any les paul on the market), or if you pull the coil tap you can get bright tele tones or strat tones. This guitar can get the sound to fit any style. There is nothing to dislike about this guitar.

Overall setup is great, and how often does the maker of the guitar set it up himself!! These guitars are flawless all wood quality is great. I had a chance to go to the factory and there is no such thing as bad wood when you are there, if the wood that gets sent in is bad, it gets sent back.

This guitar has been on the road several times and is very dependable. Has a great finish and yes the strap buttons are solid. The only backups I bring are my 2 other G&C's just incase I want to change it up alittle.

Customer support is great, How often do you get to talk to the owner of the company when you call, Always. Unlike other company's that just want your money and don't give a rats ass, when you call G&C for support you get Dean Campbell. I have never had to get this guitar repaired.

I have been playing since the age of 8 and started doing clubs at 12, I had got a PRS Mccarty the week before buying my first G&C and sold the PRS a week later. I own about 20 more guitars that now just really sit. There is nothing to hate about this guitar, once you get your hands on one I hope you love it as much as I do, So save you money and buy one, don't buy an overseas piece of junk buy a Campbell American Made In Rhode Island, USA.
