Sound : 10
I'm using this guitar with a Peavey JSX head, Gens Benz G-flex 2 x 12 cab and a Visual Sound H2O in the loop. The humbuckers aren't noisy at all. The guitar totally sings. Nice thick LP tone in the bridge and liquidy lead lines when I move to the neck pick up.

The sound is full... I was worried that it wouldn't meet the beefiness of my wolfgang, but it just spanks it in every way!!!

My only dislike thus far with the sound is that it seems the high E is slightly lower in volume than the other 5 strings, but a simple adjustment should fix that.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar came nearly in tune. That says a lot coming to NJ from CA. Plus it's the middle of winter so I was expecting it to be totally out of tune.

I haven't noticed anything wrong in the finish at all... she looks better than I could have ever dreamed and the action is perfect...

Reliability/Durability : 10
i haven't played this one out yet, but I recorded so far with it. The lead lines were full and huge.

I imagine that it will be amazing on stage. That's Carvin for you though... amazing gear... crappy customer service... but we won't get into that here.

Customer Support : 1
I hate dealing with Carvin. They are the worst people to get a status or answer from. I hope that this guitar never fails because their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been playing for almost 20 years. I'm 28. I've owned everything from PRS, to Ibanez, to Carvin, to Fender, to Jackson, to Washburn, to Gibson. This has to be, fy far the most outstanding guitar I have ever owned. My main guitars, before this, are a Gibson LP Standard, Peavey Wolfgang and PRS CU 22. I sold the PRS a few months ago and totally regretted it as soon as I did it. I didn't have the cash to get another PRS so I got this Carvin hoping that it would fill the void. To be honest, I wasn't really sure that it would.

After playing the the Carvin for a good amount of time, I realized that it completely fit the bill. PRS tone and feel without the PRS price.

I can't rave about this guitar anymore... I must go play!!!
