Six string lap steel ,passive electronics,One volume, one tone knob, one humbucking pick up , three position coil split, strings thru body. the finish is Transparent wine red over mahogany body.

the sound is robust and quiet when used in the humbucking mode .
the clearity of the coil split sound is smooth clear and detailed.
this lap steel is perfect for the way that I use it electric blues , clean or naughty, sweet or growling , experimental loops improve e-bowed , feed back .
this is the chain guitar 2 line 6 pros , 2 line 6 modular pros two lexiocon MPX 110's, Pod XTinto my pevey 16LM lin mixer and then into a M-Audio Firewire 410 audio interface into a custom build PC running Sonar 3 to record
the sound is very usable considering the demands made ion the signal .I also use and E-bBow to bring out the "other qualities . the guitar sound great pluged into an amp, roland cube 30.

action ? perfectly high! out of the box it was set up perfectly. alll work finish routing shaping sanding are simple and flawless.

I have play for a while . I like this guitar because as with any exallant tool it is a flawless vehicle for taking me where I want to go.
if the word gets out about these lapsteel guitars the ove rinflated and bloated vintage market is dead!
prior to purchasing my first lap steel I looked and looked and looked some more and could not believe the prices of old "vintage lap steel, over priced and in terrible condition this instrument came with an old.
thenn I found a chandler new in a store plugged it in and was hooled this is my seconf d as the first has a single coil pick up which is beautiful bt at high gain settings naturally gets noisey. style fender style case
