This is a pretty unique guitar. The body and neck are both mahogany and the fretboard is rosewood. Of course, it is a hollow body guitar. It has two stacked Seymour-Duncan humbuckers with independent coil taps. That's one of the coolest features. It is a cool looking, cherry-stained guitar. I'm giving it a 9. It doesn't lack any features for my tastes but I guess it could have better tuners or an ashtray bridge. However, there's nothing wrong with the tuners or the bridge.

The band I'm in plays alt-country and mildly southern rock type stuff. I can now say that I have the perfect set-up for this band. I play through a VHT Pitbull 50/12. I also have a red-knob Fender Super 112 that I play through. This guitar sounds just fine on the Fender but it sounds magnificent on the VHT. A nice amp really makes this guitar shine. The hollowbody makes this thing ring out whether clean or dirty. The low-end is full and the high end is crisp. I love this frickin' guitar! It's pretty damn versatile. It'll hit a good bluesy sound and it gets damn close to an Angus Young type sound. If you see one, play it! You will be surprised and thankful that you did.

Looks great. Plays great. Seymour-Duncan mini-humbuckers sound great and they sound good with they sound great with the coils tapped. There isn't a big difference in volume between the humbucker and single coils, which is cool.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I haven't had any problems but I haven't owned it for long. I don't see a lot that can go wrong with it.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I've been playing for about 15 years. I have a '73 Tele, a Reverend Jetstream 390, and a Gretsch 6131 Firebird. Those are both great guitars but this nails the exact sound I need for the band I'm in. It's rings like a bell when it's clean and it has plenty of grit when you've got the OD kicked in. If it was stolen I would cry and cry. Then I would trek the earth to find another one. In fact, I'm going to keep an eye on ebay just to see if I can snag another one for a good price.

Mahogany semi hollow body, Mohogany neck and rosewood fretboard. big frets Duncan mini 59s and coil tapped with push-pull volume and tone.

Does it all except biting tele twang. Absolutely shames other guitars for sound. Don't need the les paul or another tele except if you need hard core ear damaging treble twang. It also has blown up my
4 10 blues deville, two crate amps right on the showroom floor and my peavey clasic 50. So far, the Peavey Delta Blues is holding up well.

Real happy with the neck and frets. I would have preferred a more mustardy yellow finish (bought pig in polk)butit's ok. My only criticism is that the book match top and back are not completely level and reveal a line you can see and feel in bright light, but this and the neck let me know this guitar was hand built.

Reliability/Durability : 9
No major problems. After considerable live use for the last 8 years the only problem is a bit of chrome pitting on the wilkenson bridge.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No need, I like to find my own solutions to problems.

35 years in the salt mines here. After a being hobbled for a long time with a Music Man Stingray, this guitar played itself for me, and made me understand that good ole Leo had the design just about perfect first time around. I bought a "blue horror" tele to get me the missing treble twang this guitar just misses and I am complete.

I'm not sure of the year. It's 22 fret, Semi-hollow, with mahogany body, and neck, with a rosewood cap. Abalone fret dots. Controls are one volume, one tone, 5-way switch, Both pots are push/pull so you can split the pick-ups from HUmbucks to single coils. Pick-ups are two Seymour Duncan stacked Humbuckers. Passive electronics. Body style is Thinline Telecaster with the "F" hole. Bridge is a Wilkerson non-trem tail piece with adjustable saddles. String thru body. Neck is medium Fat, Jumbo Frets. Tuners look like Klusens

Sound : 10
Ahh...Here's why I have the guitar. It is equiped with Seymour Duncan's stacked humbuckers (the kind that fit in a single coil slot). I have never had them before, but they perform great along all spectrums. No mud in the neck pick-ups, no shrill in the bridge. I can control everything from the volume and tone. What is great is the pick-ups can be split by a push-pull on the volume and tone pot. so I can get single and humbuck tones. This is incredible. I originally bought PRS, because I wanted this feature, but none of them performed like this (sorry Paul). Even my Anderson which had H/S/H and a switcherroo could not sound as full or bright or dark. The pick-ups are church quiet, and I play through a Blackface Deluxe reverb, with a Fulltone Fulldrive. This is it...My entire sound comes from this set-up, and whether it's Vaughn, Eric Johnson, Satriani, or even the new stuff my kids play on the radio...It nails it. It's simple and it WORKS.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Everything about this guitar is GREAT. There is a buzz on the A and G strings at certain points, but I had the same problems with Anderson, PRS, and the other high ends (except Hamer...never a problem there) The finish and work is flawless. The Mahogany is perfect. Everything is exact.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I use this in a living room environment, but my kids like to experiment with it, and so for everything is just great.

A few weeks after getting the guitar, I sent an e-mail to the company telling them how much I LOVED this guitar. The owner and his brother responded back and thanked me.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing off and on for 25 years. I have owned nearly every guitar in the hopes I would find that ellusive tone. I came upon this guitar by accident, as part of a trade, and I made the stipulation that if I didn't like it after 24 hours I could have my Fender Princeton back...Well, I still have it. When I get it, I had six other guitars, PRS, Anderson,Custom Shop Strat, etc. I sold them all and just kept this and a MIJ '60's reissue that I put Van Zandt pickups in. This guitar captures everything...I use it for Blues,Jazz, it does it all. If it were stolen or lost...I would be heartbroken.
