Very Bright "Strat" Kind of sound. You can't buy a Fender Strat of this quality anymore with out spending a lot of money.
the Humbucker is nice, but not very hot.
When the volume is"rolled" back it is very smooth and sensitive. Very nice.
Only complaint is the pick ups could be hotter

I changed the factory setting Years ago. hard to remember 17 years ago.
The Floyd rose was a piece of junk! I set it up Fender Strat style, and I loved it.
Unfortunately, I let a kid at one of our shows play it and she dropped it on the whammy bar and it broke all to pieces.
I replaced it with a very nice Schaller Floyd rose. I really miss the original.

this is the Roughest Toughest Guitar Ever.Ive had it 17 yrs, and Played out with it very extensively for 13 of those yrs. I have never owned a case for it, and it has held up VERY nicely. I have never took the electronics cover off of it. I played for 10 yrs with this guitar without a backup. it NEVER let me down.

Ive been playing Guitar for 21 yrs. I Mostly play V's, Les Paul's, and SG's these days.
When I bought this guitar, you could get two options. One came with a Fender style whammy, and the other came with a Floyd style whammy( for an extra $100) Looking back I wished I would have saved the extra 100 bucks and got the cheaper one.
If it were stolen i would cry because i have owned half of my life.
My favorite feature is the neck ratio. it is slim and fast. when setup right, it can be a joy to play.
It is closer related to a fender strat than any other guitar i can think of. This guitar is more solid than Any strat i have played
I wish that it had Hotter pick ups in it

Not sure of when or where it was made, however suspect early nineties in Japan as suggested for similar models, this would explain the build qualty i.e. quite good.
Black body, don't know the wood, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, 5-way selector, 2 knobs - 1 tone, 1 volume, chrome hardware including knurled chrome knobs, kinda strat shaped headstock as oposed to pointy, no pickguard, locking tremelo licensed under Floyd Rose, Charvel tuners, pickups are passive charvel models in a S/S/H configuration.

I was looking for a "stratty" type guitar to get the strat tones & came across this on ebay. Couldn't really find much info on it at the time but took a chance...which I think has worked out.
The sound on this guitar is what I was looking for, loads of variation with the 5 way selector, clean sounds are specifically what I was after, but also like some of the overdriven sounds on the front p/ups & the bridge pickup can defintely rawk with the best of them!
Pleaying with the responsive tone & volume pots can produce some nice results too.
I'm not really gigging at the moment, mainly just use this to mess about with, so generally just play it through a modeller (VOX ToneLab) and am very happy with the sounds I can get through the various modelled amps.

Bought this 2nd hand off ebay, it was in very good nick though.
The guitar did seem to be put together well, just one thing is kept snapping the b-string. I have a set of needle files so smoothed off the offending area on the bridge & fingers crossed haven't had any further problems in this department.

As per above, not playing live at the mo but gigged for around 7 years before "responsible life" kicked in, perhaps go back to it someday.
I would gig with this guitar, seems to be solidly built, about as heavy as an epi LP that I have.
As this has the floating trem thing going on & I don't want to lock it down, I wouldn't play without a backup in case of the resulting untuned sounds from a busted string.

Been playing about 17 years.
If this were lost or stolen I'd get another if it were available, however I doubt it.
Did have a look at other guitars, however picked this one mainly from a bang-per-buck perspective but also becuase I own a Charvel 6 & have been happy with this for a number of years (it's not in the country where I currently reside) and it has a humbucker in the bridge, and the p/ups are passive.
Pretty pleased with this guitar, wouldn't sell as I don't suspect it's worth much in monetary terms but it's a really great little guitar and I really like it!
