basically a quite exact copy of an ibanez rg: basswood body, maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, locking nut, licensed floyd rose whammy, hsh pickups, 5 way selector switch and volume and tone pots. the guitar has a black pickguard and the body is finished in purple. slim and fast neck. 24 jumbo frets.

this guitar can fit in almost any musical style. i used with a pod and it sounds well in any pickup config. neck humbucker gives good jazz/blues/lead sounds. the in-between positions and the singlecoil alone have a very stratlike sound. bridge humbucker sounds good on distortion and also in clean settings. the output of the pickups isn't too high, but i don't mind that (this gives you better clean-sounds anyway).

when i got this guitar it was in very bad condition, but cleaning and shimming resulted in a very good playability. the screwholes that hold the neck are too wide, this was already compensated by strips of wood(this is a point i really dislike). everything else seems solid and well in place.

the cheri will do just fine, everything except the mentioned screwholes, is crafted well( not perfect but no flaws).

good gutiar for beginners and somewhat advanced players, might be upgraded with better pickups (i don't see a reason for this). i would definetely buy it again.
