This for all accounts is a "Tele" Stlye guitar, made by premier builder
Cole Clark in Australia. Named a Culprit Model by Cole Clark. This
particular guitar has a unique finish..after sealing etc it appears that
a bottom colour is applied and dryed then the main coulor is applied and
while drying, some of the colour is either "ragged off" or "brushed off"
Then a clear coat is applied to a "Crystal" Finish..The result is a stunning Mottled dark green finish. To get an idea of this finish view
the Cole Clark web site. This model has a Humbucker + single coil set up. These are Cole Clarks own "Divorce Series".It has an Ebony f/board,
Mother of pearl scratch plate and pearl tuner heads..Stunning.......

The Cole Clark "Divorce" pick ups sound as good as any thing I've heard.
I don't think any one would think of a pick up swap on this guitar.
Ok to the purest a humbucker in the back would seem like sacralidge.
But it offers a natural fatter sound, that lets harmonics ring out and
of course no noise..The front standard size T model pick up has a very
usefull pleasant tone..Not far from a Strat front p/up. The mix gives a
great clean rhythm tone..This arrangement would suit Hi gain to blues to
clean..A very useful guitar.

Set up from the factory was great. Of course any player likes his/hers
guitars set up for them, thats an option. I could'nt find any thing
wrong with finish or presentation. As Cole Clark ship a lot of guitars
to Japan. I think they are aware of things like finish and presentation.
The Japanese are very fussy consumers.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I beleive this guitar is built better than most of the "Stamped out"
Masses..These guitars are still produced by a small dedicated group of
craftsmen. Many are built to the customer specs. They cross the barrier
betwee one luthier bulding one very expensive guitar every 3 months and the factories producing thousands of guitars a month..As for reliability
and Durability, to fore see the future should be left to Television
mind readers..It will be fine !!!

Customer Support : 10
Hey you can talk to the guys that are building the guitars. Brad Clark
seems like the real deal. Passionate, friendly and very experienced.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing for over 25years (SHIT I'M NOT FAMOUS YET) Like most veterans i've played most gear and most types of music. I've finally got over the name on the head stock thing..(I think a lot of players are seeing the light). This guitar in Australia retails for around $1749.00..(street price around $1500.00)(about $1100.00 us) this is less than some of the Mexican Teles available here, and for that you get almost a custom built guitar to your specs. As an add on I've also been one those one off Builders. After I sold about my fourth hand built electric, i soon realised that the rewards for many many hours work were very slim.
Beleive me this is a great value for money guitar.......
