body/neck-honduran mahogany
fingerboard-Gaboon ebony 24fret 251/2 scale reverse cross inlay.
Electrics-2 vol,2 tone two seymour and duncan humbuckers 59PAF neck ,super distortion.
Finish- Black marble effect finsh, Nitro cell.
Custom built in Wales (UK) by james Coley,my girlfriend had an idea of what she wanted (it was a suprise birthday present for me) James somehow built it. I can only really say think of a rocked up evil??Gibson SG, my coley has a similar style to a gibson, but with many differences, the body is like a cross between an SG and a hamer phantom, it has a slimmer faster neck then any SG??Ive played??with 24 frets (with reversed cross inlays), seymour duncan pups. great grover tuners and some really??cool control and volume covers, and a nice tight tune o matic bridge.??

Action, Fit, & Finish

This is the first time I haven't changed the setup on a new guitar straight away, I think it has 10s on it and despite me generally usin 9's??it felt great from first play, action pretty much on the nail. Hasn't even??gone out of tune yet.....??I will revert back to 9s soon, but its currently exactly where I want it. the finish is incredible in my view, it looks so unlike anything Ive seen before, its a black and silver/ grey marble effect and matched with the silver and black hardware and exagerated shape it stands out a mile, it feels as well built as my Gibson and hamer??and probably better then the jackson and washburns I also use so I can only say it's damn near perfect!

I have only had it for just over a month so can't judge fully yet, but going off the feel and gear used in its construction I can't see me havin any problems... so hence a 10!

well if anything needs changeing or setting up I only need to ask, James has checked up on things and has insisted anything needs sorting to get in touch. If only all customer support was like this??

I have played guitar for maybe 14 -15 years and played and tried hundreds of guitars- pretty much every major guitar and company around and even many rare and vintage pieces and I am so suprised how good this i, I feel it completely sums up what I want from a guitar, it feels so well constructed, looks absolutely amazing (a one off definately), plays as good as pretty much anything Ive tried, but more importantly feels exciting to play , every time I pick it up I feel like its something special, and that is rare I dont know how much it cost but I would pay double just for the sense of excitement it gives me. If I ever need another guitar I would definately see what Coley can come up with!
