Incredible sound, just perfect. Very clear, great note separation, very even sounding and responds really well to how you play.
Running it through a modified Princeton reverb,Fulltone fulldrive,t.c electronics nova reverb and Eventide time factor.
It is more similar to a Gibson than a PRS, but more open and acoustic sound, more deeper and jazzy.Much more dynamic.
I play jazz, rock, pop, blues and other styles. This axe con cover a lot of styles.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Collings usually comes with medium/high action, and leaves it up to the customer to decide on the set up. I had it lowered a little bit and it plays great. Came with 011's which is what I am using.
Everything is totally flawless.
Reliability/Durability

I have had it for a month and half, used it on several gigs already.
No issues. Would not use a backup.
Collings quality control and reliability are legendary.

Best guitar I have ever owned and played. It was either this one or the I-35 deluxe. Would love to check out the city limits jazz as well.
I could see myself playing only on Collings guitars, their acoustics are amazing as well. I own a PRS hollowbody spruce,PRS ce24, McInturff taurus Strandar,G&L ASAT Deluxe, yamaha fretless,Godin multiac grand concert and a couple of taylors.
This is the only guitar I have ever tried that is absolutely perfect!
