Features : 1
Made in China,
21 jumbo frets,
solid top,
1 x volume 1 x tone controls,
Maple neck,
2 pickups,
Telecaster-like body.

The nut was out of edge, while bending higer notes some frets stops the vibration of the string and simply kills the sound, and, for my surprise, so I watch my new guitar and... what?? NO TRUSS ROD????

I give it a 1 because I throwed away all the hardware and the pickups and put full new hardware and smoothed some freets. When I buy the new neck I'll have a moded 136??? guitar body plus extras...

Sound : 3
As bought new this suits contry, some rockabilly and some classic rock, but those pickups aren't made for good distortion.

I used it through a 15w solid state peavey and a 15w tube Fender super champ XD.

The neck pickup was warmer but sounded much lowet than the bridge pickup, which sounded cheaper, but not noiser at all.

It didn't sound good to my ears... But it was a 136??? guitar.

I think that when the neck will be ****** that won't be important, so, it deserves a 3.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 2
not a great guitar setup, but not bad.

It looked nice, and there wasn't glue rest...

This guitar can't stay in tune over 2 days, and as I sayd before, some disgusting frets, nut out of edge, diferent volume pickups...

But it looked very nice out of the box.

And, of course, no truss rod... it gives a 1 or 2 years of life to my neck? and, 1 month to my next bridge readjustment??

So, it only looked nice.

Reliability/Durability : 1
This guitar was made to be gifted to your nice son, so that he/she can play some chords until the neck gets fucked up.

If you change all the hardware (like I did) It can sound very nice, mine does, but someday you'll have to buy a new neck.

The company was so nice.

Overall Rating : 1
Don't think that this guitar, as brand new, will give you more than a 136??? guitar without truss rod.

Fender Telecaster copy and a good one!
All the traditional features are there within the smallest detail so no need to summarize.
One exception: 5 modern standard type saddles instead of the original 3 which supported a pair of strings. A change for the better imho.
Only available through the german based store: Musik Produktiv.
Made in korea, I suspect by Samick. (very likely...)
Alder (yes!!) body / one piece maple satin finished neck / vintage white finish.
Very nicely made and appealing. No flaws whatsoever. No glue or paint left overs. Fretting has been done with great care. Perfect string to neck/body alignment. Kluson type non-locking tuners and they stay in tune.
The usual S-S telecaster PU configuration / 3-way swith / volume and tone.
No extra accessories but it's worth mentioning that the guitar was delivered within due time and that it was very well packed.
I paid 136 Euro for this fine quality non pretentious Tele copy and it is worth every single cent. I ordered it just out of curiosity, thinking that if i isn't any good, the kids would get it to fool around. I didn't know what to expect just by looking at the pictures on the net. Man, I almost fell of my chair while unpacking. It looks very high end and feels high end as well. After having played it for a while, I realized that I was holding a little pearl in my hands for an almost absurd price tag. This will not be my last Collins... (and the kids don't get it to fool around...)
Incredible quality for the money, almost absurd, it's surely worth a 10.

Worth mentioning is that the pu's are not particularly noisy.
They are very well balanced and one gets that typical twang out of the bridge pu. It bites, it's a tad harsh but never cheap sounding. And it's got nice ringing harmonics. Love it.
The neck pu is very well suited for fusion Jazz and Blues. It's very warm.
I guessed I'd have to upgrade to hifg end pu's but after two months of playing the guitar, I decided not to and just leave it like it is. I'm very happy with it.
The switch is very smooth and totaly noiseless and falls in the targeted cavity with that typical "schloumppf" or "cloock" found on high end quality instruments, compared to the "crrlank", which sounds cheap... ;-)

One little remark here: The nut is a tad too high. I will take it out some time and file it down a little. Nothing bad though...
Perfect set up and action from the factory.
Change the strings asap, the're crappy 009-042 or something....
I'm used to 011-052 and the neck seems to be happy with it.
Perfect paint job, nice color and sattin finish on the neck.
Truly worth to be compared to much more expensive instruments.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Time will find out but I expect that this axe will have a long and happy life...
All parts seem to be made by very high quality standards.
Unbelievable for this price...

I've bought lot's of stuff at MP and have always been very pleased with their after sales service. Just call them, you'll see what I mean.

Been playing for 25 years and I have owned and still own lots of guitars. From mid price to high end, mainly Strats, LP's and ES's.
I would by exactly that one again if it were stolen.

Try this: Order this guitar just for fun, knowing that it will possibly also amuse the kids or just be a nice wall decoration. 136 euro, nobody's going to cry...
And then comes that day. You'll unpack it, you'll play it, you'll watch it, you'll be perplexed and confused and shortly after that, you'll have a dumb "strawberry field forever" smile on your face and you'll cherish it.
