I recently purchase this guitar at a pawn shop I've NEVER seen an electric 12 string made by cort, I think the guitar is a knock off of the Fender XII (aka 12 string strat)it is well made for what it is the body is made of laminate other than that, no complaints,,,the neck is rosewood board over maple,,,, the turners are ok and seem to hold a tuning effortlessly(I know the tuners on some Corts suck!!!), This 12 string "strat rip off" sports 3 single coils in the usual postions and a strat style bridge with a tremlo, which works fine the strat buttons were loose as usual with lamninate body guitars,,, a little super glue in the hole then puuting the screw back in solved that problem,My example has done more time sitting then was played, the frets has no wear on them, other than some faded areas (from age) this guitar plays like new, I did have to do the usaul adjustments(truss rod, bridge, etc,,,) to get the action lower, and it's pretty good cause of it never being played, as far as a year? there was a label that was faded out on the "heel" of the body it read(853???) that's all I can make out,,, one seems to know how cort serial# read (if anyone owns one of these guitars could ya please Email me at: strattdude@yahoo.com)

this guitar is VERY COOL !!!, it works well with the music I play I am a solo musician, my band is a drum machine and for some songs this guitar provides a fat full sound for certain songs without it they would sound thin and weak,,,,I run this GIT through a zoom 505 then to my PA, I find it to be no more noisy than a Strat, the typical buzzz, this guitar does deliver a nice rich Roger Mc Guinn twang when in the front pick up postion,,,, but the middle pick up works best for basic chords ie,,, strumming rhythm,,,, etc,,,it has a lot of potiental I have not owned it long enough to discover all of it,,, I have own a Danelectro 12 string elecric, this thing "smokes it" all the way around in craftsman ship playability,,ergo,,etc,,,the only real negitve thing I have to say about it is ,,THE CORT BRAND NAME IS ON THERE AND THE NAME IS ASSOCIATED WITH CHEAPNESS,, AND THE BODY IS LAMINATED,,, THEY COULD HAVE USED BETTER LOOKING TUNERS IT GIVES THIS GUITAR A "CHEAP LOOKIN' APPEARANCE BUT THEY DO HOLD A TUNING NO PROBLEM, IT'S JUST A COSMETIC THING!

YES !!!! it does all the time as i mentioned prior about the strap buttons (just use the glue method and ya'll have no problems), the finish is good on this guitar I don't usally put a lot of stock in the "color or how many chips the finish has it the sound that comes first!), Yes I can depend on it, no I would not use without a back up,,,but for me that goes with any guitar! Things can and do go wrong at the "gig" all the time!!!

I start when I was young (I am 34 now) I have own tons and tons of gear If this got ripped from me I would find something else,,, not to be cocky or anything,,,,but "talent will always overide the instrument" I hate when people think they can "buy their talent" if someone soundsgood chancesare it's them!!! Not the Geetar!
