This little beauty caught my eye in a pawn shop, nice mahogany finish with black pickguard. No special features about the guitar, other than it totally fit into the room where it now calls

Sound : 7
Nice bright tone which can be attributed to the lighter strings installed by the pawn shop. I like heavier strings, so I'm hoping it'll give me a richer sound when I change 'em. But the brights and mids are excellent! Doesn't quite have the richness I'd like, but for $100 I didn't expect too much.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I love this guitar! I bought this especially for practicing my lead-work, and the nice low action really allows me to wander the entire fretboard and do the things I want to do, even more-so than my 'working' guitar (Yamaha). The neck is straight, and the guitar itself is slightly smaller than my Yamaha and fits me perfectly.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I'm not sure when this guitar was made, but it seems like its been around a while, with a few dings and normal wear and tear of time and use. One of the tuning pegs was replaced. But for the price, I didn't expect it to be as solid as it has been. The hardware is tight and it holds its tuning, and the whole guitar is super solid. I'm confident that this one will be with me for a long, long time.

I was looking for a campfire guitar when I found this Cort. As fate would have it, it had arrived in the pawn shop the day before I went shopping. I had set myself a $100 limit for my purchase and when I went to the pawn shop, the Cort was very obviously the guitar for me, and the only one with a price tag under $100 at $89. It came to $102 with taxes. Exactly one week later, straight out of the blue I recieved my first ever royalty cheque from SOCAN for $102!!! This was meant to be.

I know a few people with Cort guitars, so I knew the value I was getting for the price. My little Cort is awesome, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, solid, reliable instrument.
