Cort CJ 5 X - Hand made Korea . Features: spruce top and mahogany back & sides with jumbo size bodied design, dove tail joined, with flamed maple edging. Real bone nut & saddle. Sound : 10
I asked a non muso what they thought of this guitar, their comments were. "looks nice, it's very full sounding". That kinda says it all. This beauty has the sound I was looking for : bright with lot of meddles and well defined basses. It has a wonderfull sustain.
I compared it with a Gibson , The Cort had more trebbles and volume, and the notes were more precises and defined. These 2 girls have each their own beautifull voice. I choose the Cort for it's sustain and precise tones.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This also impressive. The finish is nothing less than stunning (see for yourself). Very few flaws. Nothing important that you see unless you are closer than 2-3 inches. This finish again matchess much more expensive guitars

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I don't think I'll ever have a problem.
This guitar is SOLID!!

More than 20 years playing guitars and this Cort is my first Electro-acoustic.( Corea ) I own a Fender, a Taylor and 2 Takamine's which I still like to play on. I think the Cort is my favorite now. Of course, it doesn't sound like a Taylor, but I dare to say that there is almost no difference between them when you hear it. Amazing for such a low- priced guitar that could beat a much higer- priced guitar about sound quality!
Overall, I 've got no regret with my purchase of this little, sweet singer!!!
