I play hard-rock, blues, thrash and black metal! This guitar is more versatile than I thought! The 60's emg is perfect for blues, rithmics and clean sounds... the 81 rock your bottom when you play metal!
I use the boss DS1 and OS2 and a lot of digital effects powered by Digitech.
There isn't any noise, the emg's pick-ups are great!
The guitar's sound is perfect for hard rock & heavy metal!

If you love emg's active pickup and you don't have a lot of money to spend, this is your guitar!

This guitar suits my style perfectly it is so versitile from heavy riffs and crystal warm clean with the "emg 60" to screaming solos with the "81" this thing is a weapon. No humming or buzz from the pickups, once you roll the volume down its dead quiet unlike most other high output "passive pickups" (go the emg's). i really cant fault the sound because after all EMG's are the best in my opinion.

The factory setup was satisfactory but the shop i bought it from really looks after you, and after him setting it up again (only had to cut the nut again) then me playing it we only made a slight adjustment to the action height because i prefer it really low for quick lead. For the money it is extremely hard to beleive you are getting such a quality product from the flawless finish the awesome fret work and unreal inlays this thing rivals esp $1700 and upwards.
i am a massive les paul fan and own an epiphone it is a great guitar but they have just made simple mods like the neck join for easy access to the 15 and upward frets, just brilliant. one bad point is the awesoem looking strap holders dont fit my strap locks (no big deal) and the contured arm peice isnt in the position when standing up! but it doesent affect me at all.

I play in a band and even though its brand new and ive only used it at rehersal it will have no problem lasting, as i said before the quality hardware ie, Tonepros bridge EMG pickups and what seems to be good quality controls, toggle switch and tuning heads.

I have been playing for 9 years now and own an epi les paul that has been customised in the action and fret department, a washburn dime 333 with all top notch hardware and custom setup. All played through a fender MH-500 head and cab. I love my other guitars but thing sounds better and plays just a little bit better than my other two "with out having to shave frets and all the rest" If this guitar was stolen i would harm that person and buy another one. i would strongly reccomend that people stand up and take notice of this quality guitar maker because i do not believe you can buy a better guitar for the money.

This guitar was made to attract metal players but I've found it more versatile. The neck pickup cleans up nicely and you can get some warm tones.
I'd prefer a mahogany body for the "knock" sound and a double battery box for 18vdc head room.
I have an RGT42DXFX with 81/85 that kicks ass sound wise.

This guitar almost demands heavy strings (tens). The action was quite high out of the box but I set it up well.
The truss rod adjuster is a crappy cheap kind.
The finish is flawless as shoud be with such a simple painj job.
The inlays are very nicely done.
The fret board edges have flaws on the body and an first fret ends.

There's really nothing to this guitar so I assume it would hold up.
The neck is very sensitive to H&H as most set neck guitars seem to be.

I don't think I would replace it.
It's good for the money but I have played better.
It looks cool.
