Bought this guitar in Jan 2003, it was made in 2002. Handcrafted in Korea. It has a solid spruce top, with mohagany sides, back and neck. Pretty simple straight forward acoustic with no onboard electronics.

Sound : 8
Fantastic sounding guitar for the price range..........I have had many more expensive guitars that never sounded this good!!! Nice full sound, solid guitar

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I never like any factory set ups, except if it is a wolfgang.........but a few tweaks of the truss and she was nice and easy to play. No cosmetic defects I could notice at all, nice simple inlays, mohagany on the back is gorgeous. Nice binding on the neck.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I haven't it this guitar very long, I only bought this after purchasing a 12 string version of the Earth 200 a few weeks before. Liek I said before good solid guitar, I don't foresee any issues that could affect longevity. The fact I am so impressed withis thing I came right on to add my review should speak volumes....I have been playing for over 16 years, and I don't impress easily......

Customer Support : 9
Couldn't tell you what the service aspect is like for warranty. But I can tell you the sales team is great. My local dealer had to order this for me, and once they found out I had the 12 string as well and was so happy I was ordering this one......they shipped right away. Luckily there was some available, they actually were hard to get around Xmas time they were that popular.

Overall Rating : 10
Like I said before............I have been playing over 16 years and have owned one of everthing at some point. I was a die hard Ovation player, then a Takamine freak. Now I own this and the 12 string version of the Earth 200 series from Cort. I would definately replace it if it was lost or stolen. Best bang for your buck in the price range. Compared against some other Takamines and such.

Made in 2000, I believe. I bought mine early 2001. Made in Korea. Dreadnought with a solid spruce top, mahogany sides, and solid mahogany back. Mahogany neck. Grover tuners. Natural finish. Inlay at the 12th fret. Medium frets.

Sound : 8
I play singer/songwriter tunes, blues&rock and a bit of funk on this one, and it handles everything quite well. It has a very warm sound - cozy you might say, and when provoced with masculine blues, hard strumming, artificial harmonics etc, it responds eagerly to that as well. I've played far more expensive guitars that lacks a lot in warmth and richness compared to this one. The biggest flaw is the lack of sustain above the 10th fret. But then again, that's a problem with most acc. guitars I'll ever be able to afford. I love the sound in this one, especially when I remind myself that I could actually buy a new one without being in debt for six months.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
No problems here. The truss-rod is easily accessible and, those grover-tuners are great(!). It will always stay in tune, as long as you don't play outdoors in Norway in the winter.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Everything seems good. I've had this one for two years now, and I've had no problems so far. I suspect I might want to grease the tuners soon. From string pegs to the nut, I must say I'm impressed with the overall reliability.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 8
This is my one and only acoustic guitar. If this was stolen, I'd try to get hold of another one - although I think that would be a bit of a problem. All the shops here in Oslo will only sell me the Cort Eart 100 which can by no means compare to its big brother. The reason I'd buy a new one is the warm and rich sound it offers to a very affordable price. I give it an overall rating of 8, because this is one of the very best budget-guitars out there.

It's yer basic. Nothin to snazzy about this thing. Its real plain but fine. Neck is good and comfy, body very nice and easy to play. Not sure what this thing's made of but it sounds fine so I don't care.

Sound : 8
Good sound. Very bright and crunchy. I have a feeling this this would be great for MTV unplugged cuz it you can get a good tone and get power chords to sound real nice. Not too bassy or anything. Not to say its too bright, but its not muddy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Good set-up never changed anything but strings. The action is good maybe a little high but who cares. Finish is nice and doesn't come off no matter what. Feels real nice on your lap.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This is a real workhorse. I put it through hell, bumping and smashing it all over the place and it looks new.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with cort

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for a while and this is the last acoustic i will ever buy. I doubt It will ever break and I've had it for so long its molded to my hands. Can't live without this thing.

made in 2000 probably.i think this is a korean guitar.it has a solid spruce top with mahogany sides and back.i think it says it has scalloped bracing whatever that means.the neck is made of mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.the frets are nice and neat with grover tuners on the headstock.the fingerboard is pretty nice to look at, since it has a bit of a decorative thing happening at the 12th fret.the tuners stayed in tune perfectly.there was alot of buzzing at the 12 to 14th fret but thats probably cause of a bad setup.the guitar looked nice but the satin finish was a bit tacky.

Sound : 5
the sound was nice for a manufacturer that gets ripped alot.the only problem i had was the top E and A string progected to much bass and drowning out the treble.this guitar is a good on a budget guitar.the body vibrated nicely but way too bassy for me.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
the action was perfect at the first 8 frets but then it started pinging. the action was a mess at the 12th to 14 fret. the buzz from it turned me off the guitar.this guitar had a satin finish personally its not my thing ,but also it gave this guitar that cheap import look.the frets were nicely laid and the rosewood was flawless.

Reliability/Durability : 3
i dont think this guitar would stand live playing it has too many holes in it with sound and the way its constructed.the tuners were perfect and the frets look alright.i would not depend on this to get a good show in front of an experienced audience.

Customer Support : 4
overall my first impression of cort is fairly good, but compared to fender its great.i dont know much about the warranty.

Overall Rating : 5
i have been playing for about two years now ,mostly with my buddies jamming.i have owned yamahas and this guitar falls a bit above and a bit below them.if it were stolen i would probably buy a yamaha.i liked the fact it was mahogany but i think it was cheap grade mahogany cause it does not go anywhere near my guild.
