Cort Earth-50 seems to be a rare find as it's barely listed on the cort site (it's under Cort 70 but description is under Cort 70. Made in China (pretty sure Korean Manufacture). Solid Spuce top and Mahogany sides/back, satin top is Honey brown in color (imperfections in wood but I only care about sound).
Please take this review from the point of view that this is my first guitar, and I don't have the years of experience so many other reviewers have. I appreciate the work however those reviewers put in, and in the end I wanted to give back to this website for helping in my decision.

Sound : 10
Musical taste included Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, etc. I wanted to pick a guitar solely on what sounded good to me, rather than be told what sounds good. Although it looked foolish, every time I demo a guitara?| my eyes were closed. This guitar seemed more rich/full and mellow to me than most within the category. Most sounded cheap or hollow, but this had character (without romancing the issue).

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Setup of guitar was well thought out. Elements that are hard to change are quality; those that are easy are standard quality. Great for a beginner or someone who likes to customize and doesna??t want to pay for something they wona??t use. Ex Solid Spruce Top (quality) Plastic Bridge (easy to replace/change). Action was set easy for beginner fingers and neck was medium in thickness. If you looking for a perfect grain wood top with no imperfection, this may however not be the guitar for you.. again I cared less. Sound was the deciding factor.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I really can't comment on Reliability/Durability as I've never owned a guitar for a great length of time. I baby most of my stuff, so no scratchess/dings as of yet.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Again, no comment as there was never a need to call customer service. I however did use the site for research, and found it not the best for information.

Overall Rating : 10
Playing for about half a year. If I can make a suggestion, if you new to guitar buy a stand vs a case. Putting the guitar out in the open really encourage playing it on a regular basis. If I were trading up, I'd go with a Seagull (Beautiful sound as well, plus the looks to match).

Overall this is the best value for a new to guitar player or someone looking for a backup to there pricey alternative.
