This guitar sounds great! a lot of harmonics, enough low end (not boomy), great midrange and nice treble without beiing harsh. I can play it very dynamicly, can be loud, can be sweet, some piano like bass and mids, makes everything you create with your fingers. The bear claw spruce is top of the art. Some people think that it looks strange, but ut sound like hell. Normally you can find this wood at more expensive guitars. I've a handcrafted Japan Yamaha LLX400 which sounds very good too, but the Cort is louder and more flexible. My other Cort, a NTL Custom, is also good but far away from this Cort Earth Custom LE

yes, the guitar is expensive for a Korea product, but it is outstanding! An european or amercan guitar with this features would cost a lot more and will not be better. I compared it in the shop with Taylors, Gibsons, Lakewoods, Larivee's in upper price ranges. Of corse every guitar ha a different sound, and some of them had a great sound, but the Cort was one of the better ones. I bought it, because it was a blow out price for 800,- Euros ( i think 900,- us-dollars)instead of list price 1890,- Euros (street price 1500,- Euros). A high End Case was included !!!
