Hand made, limited edition,Acoustic dreadknot style. one of about 50-60 I was told by CORT.Made in 2004 in Korea.20 frets. Solid top of the finest Bear Claw Spruce and is rather thick in comparison to other guitars. The back and sides are solid woods of the finest quilted bubinga from Africa.Perfectly bookmatched, Highly figured Bubinga is rare, and this one is a beauty! The finish is a natural colouring, glossy on the back, top and sides. The neck is one piece of top master grade mahogany with a satin finish. The fretboard and bridge are solid ebony. There are 20 frets. The nut width is 43mm and both nut and saddle are bone. The neck is slim and very comfortable. It has Gotoh SGL510 gold tuners at a 1:21 ratio. The bridge pin appear to be made of ebony with a dot of abalone, encircled by a tiny gold ring, and the end pin is the same. There is a delicate abalone soundhole. It has a full body, neck and headstock muliple binding of Quilted Maple and Mahogany. She also has a delicate abalone fretboard inlay at the 12 fret and abalone dot fret markers, and the same design on the headstock under the Cort name. It came with a high quality lined custom case in dark brown

Sound : 10
The sound from this guitar is spectacular!!! Full rich bodied sound with SUSTAIN that goes on FOREVER! There is no fret buzz anywhere and I have the strings set very low for super playable ease.I tried out many guitars, and much, much more expensive than this one, but was totally sold on this rare beauty for the sound of it and the feel of it. Not to mention that I love the look of the quilted Bubinga.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The fit and finish are perfect! Someone took his time making this Baby. The interior uses scaloped bracing and extra bracing is on the interior sides as well. No expence was spared. The action was a bit high, so I had it brought down at a dealer's shop that carried Gibson, Taylor and Martin. The man who did the work called everyone that came by to CHECK IT OUT. All the responses were great, except for a crack made by the owner, who than said he was only kidding. They couldn't beleive the price either.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I don't think I'll ever have a problem.
This guitar is SOLID!!

Customer Support : 10
The only support I've needed was to ask how many were produced. The response took 2 days, but this was hardly a question needing any urgency. I also have a Cort 1200 and asked about replacing the bridge pins and Cort replied quickly and informativly

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I would DIE if I lost this guitar! It may be very difficult to find another one like it. When I started shopping Cort was not high on my list, but I've had a real change of heart on the Cort Custom made guitars. There low end stuff isn't too great, but who's is?
I also have a Cort 1200;Ibanez AW100; Ibanez AEL20VV, Yamaha FG340II
