The guitar was made in 2009 according to the inspection card on 25th july. Body: solid, extremely thick basswood Neck: very comfortable and fast maple Fretboard: rosewood. S-S-H pickup configuration, Powersound single coils. Idon't know what brand the humbucker is but I think it's also a Powersound. 22 frets, 1 volume 1 tone, Full Action II tremolo. Color: Mystic Ice Crazer. Extremely beautyful.
Bought it for 147 Euros.

It'a fat strat-like guitar, so it suits almost all styles. I play mostly modern rock/metal and sometimes blues or classic rock. I own a Hagstrom Ultra Sweed and this. I can use it with only slight changes on the Hag's presets. The sound is awsome (of course in this price range)! In the music store I tried it with a 30W Marshall practice amp. At home I have an Orange Crush 15R and I use a Johnson Amplification JT50 Mirage amp for gigging and band practicing. It sounded great through all of them. Great sustain, nice, rich tone, very versatile. Soon I will upload some vids on youtube. If you want a great backup or just want another axe to play, buy it!

I don't know about factory set-up because it was already set-up by the guy in the music store. No flaws, no noise no clicking when using the selector. Well made and set-up. Watch out for the tremolo! It's not a Floyd Rose, so it's only good for slight vibrato. If you are a bit rude to it, it won't stay in tune! But that can be fixxed by installing a new trem. This one can't be locked and is very sensitive. If you get used to it, will be ok. The neck has no laquer on it and that's what I personally prefer. The guitar is beautyful and I think it will last for a lifetime if taken care.

I did not use it live but I plan to. I bought it as a backup for my Hagstrom Ultra Sweed. If I should rely on this guitar only on a gig, I would give it a try. I think it could bare it.

Never had to deal with them. I was searching for details and stuff before buying the guitar. Their homepage is perfect! So I think you can say they have good costumer support.

I've been playing for more than ten years now on and off. Mostly on. I had lots of guitars and I was always lucky with them. I always found relatively cheap axes with good quality (hope I will be this lucky through my whole life:D). Of course it's not a Fender Strat but I think with proper set-up and playing it has a strat-like sound. Quality instrumetn+quality amp = quality sound. Don't expect it to beat a Fender or a Gibson but they are not in this price range. This thing worth more money and respect than it costs and gets. I plan to buy a g260 later. If it was stolen I would buy another one and kill the thief with a rusty spoon!

This is my first guitar and it couldn't be much better for a straterskit. The finish is almost perfect for a beginner. The amount of frets is enough. Like you ever gonna play a solo on the 23e and 24e fret? They excist, but you'lle need more skills to play such a solo.

The sound is like a sunset. You wont get it any better if you buy another guitar for thesame price. I've played the guitar on a Marshall Ministack, a Fender Frontman 25 W and on a Laney Hardcore Max. The last I have at home. And even on the worst amp you've ever imagined, it's sounds not bad at all...

I had to adjust somethings to the guitar, because the set-up wasn't completly excact. After those adjustments, the pickups were great and the sound was better than the way I bought it. Mine is perfecly bookmatched and the rest I saw in the shop too. I haven't discoverd any flaws in the hardware, as far I've searched.

I don't think the guitar would live and tell about a tour, because it will fall apart after 10 times really hard playing. Till up now, I'm playing a lot of Metallica, and I can notice the difference between when I started jamming and when I stopped. The hardware comes loose and the repairing takes about 1 hour. That's no problem for me, but most people don't want to repair their guitar after each song. But overall, it's very reliable and I would use it on a gig (without backup). But,... it must be a short gig.

I've been playing the guitar for about 4 years now. 2 of them electric. I have some experience, so I know what's good and I've got to wach for. My friends and family tought me that.
As I've already said: There's no better guitar of that price.

The guitar was made in Indonesia. I do not know when it was build but is probably was 2002 or 2001 or so since I bought it in 2002 new from the shop. It is a strat style guitar. It has 22 frets, two single coils and one humbucker in the neck. These can be switched with a 5-way selector. The elements are passive and from powersound. The body is Agathis (cheap) and the neck is Maple. It is also equiped with some kind of tremelo which I hate and I will lock it soon... The tuners are non-locking, the brand is unknown to me, and no accessories were included. So nothing special here, but it has everything for a small price...

First: This is my first electric guitar. However it is not the first time I played one, I also played acoustics quite some time, so I know what I'm talking about here.... I use a Fender frontamp 15G with this guitar.
The guitar can produce quite some sounds. The humbucker is great when you use distortion or overdrive. The thing I like is the middle pickup which can produce a sound which is close to my acoustic steel string guitar. However both single coils do not produce the nice rich warm sound I would like to hear. I like the sound of the middle one however. I will probably replace the neck pickup and perhaps the middle one also to get that warm sound... For the fact that the pickups are so cheap, they sounded a lot better then I expected... There is simply no noise. Only when I use distortion there is some noise (as you would expect...)

I will give the finish a 10. The only thing I had to do myself was adjusting the pickups. How you will place your pickups depends on the kind of sound you would like to produce and how you play your guitar, so these settings are something every player has to decide for his/her own... The rest of the guitar was just perfect. The action was great, the intonation was perfect, I could find just nothing!!! (that's probably one of the reasons why I bought this guitar)

I didn't have the guitar long enough to say much about the reliability and durability. However it seems to be solid so I can't find any reason why it would not withstand live playing. When playing I will always use a backup, I don't care how good the guitar is, if something goes wrong with it you're screwed... So no rating for this one...

I've been playing for 2 years now on acoustics. This is my first electric. Before I went buying this one I played a lot of other guitars also, including those squiers and epiphones and even the famous fender strat. It completely beats the squiers, perhaps it's better than those epiphones. I could either choose to wait and buy a Fender fat-strat which are quite expensive or buy this one with less money and it fits all my needs. As said I will replace the pickups and I will lock the tremelo (which I would have done on any guitar...)

2001 I guess made in Korea
22 frets 25.5" maple neck with rosewood inlay, solid body of Agathis, strat style finished in tobacco sunburst
5 way pick-up selector, tone and volume controls
2 single coil pick-ups and 1 humbucker in the bridge position.
There is a coil tap on the humbucker so you can configure it as a single coil by pulling out the tone control knob.
Roller neck and tremolo arm strings fed through the body.
Die-cast tuners.

I play whatever I like the sound of from classical through country and rock. I find that with this guitar it suits most styles as it is so versatile with the coil tap feature being able to swap between single coil and humbucker.
I play it through a Marshall G80RCD and it sounds really bright through the clean channel using single coils, and it gives a great gutsy rock sound using the humbucker using overdrive 1. Overdrive 2 gives a heavy metal sound but I am not really into thrash etc. as I am in the old fart category.
The only dislike I have is that you have to be very careful not to touch the bridge at all as the tremolo is very sensitive.

The initial set up was fine, and I have not had to do anything. Wether the shop set it up or it was set up at the factory I do not know. I have been unable to detect any flaws or poor quality components.
The action is incredibly smooth and the neck feels so comfortable.

This guitar feels as if it is built like a brick shit-house, and I think you can depend on it but I would never rely on playing live without a back-up, no matter what guitar you had.

I have not needed to deal with the manufacturers, or with the shop that sold it to me. But it carries a life-time warranty and the shop are extreemly helpful.

I have played on and off for over 40 years, and I also own a classical guitar and an elctro-acoustic.
I would probably replace it if lost or stolen, as I did compare it with a lot of other instruments before I puchased it, but this one had a lot more features and was better quality than others in this price range, and for the price I think it is the dogs-bollocks.

Seems to have been made fine, all the knobs turn smoothly. One hiccup was that the strapping around the humbucker has been pulled down into the electronics but this doesn't seem to effect the noise at all, also there was an unvanished spot about the size of a 5c (NZ) coin but i don't notice it. Handle has a beautiful feel to it.
