Cort G285 2006 Model (made in Korea), blue basswood body, carved basswood body with white tortoise pickguard.
Cfa-III tremolo bridge, Sperzel USA Trim-lok tuners, 25'' (I think) fast rosewood neck, padded gig bag, 22 frets.
Syemour Duncan SSK-SSL-JB pickups: 2 single coil and 1 humbucker, with coil tap lever plus 5-way selector, vol and tone (on 500k pots)
Sound

Its sound is very versatile: it can cover from soft rock to metal (not extreme), the coil split is very useful too.
No noise at all, rich sound suing bridge configuration, and mellow enough at neck.
Perhaps adding a metal ring around the humbucker at bridge it may sound with an enhanced mid-range punch.... but it's ok, punches hard enough thru my up-full treble-boosted Vox Ac30

at factory the setup was bad, as usual... well in a day I set up strings and bridge properly and it's amazing! The neck is fast, excellent tuning stability even if you hard dive bomb your tremolo bar...
Just be careful to read the manual of sperzel tuners, if u don't mount the strings correctly the autolocking is useless!
It's a high end Cort, no flaws, no noise, and it's also beatiful! I love it

Once the strings have settled, the tunign stability is almost perfect, really.... no problems at all. Yes it seems very reliable, I bought it new along with its gig bag but it shouldn't have problems, I'll treat it with PLENTY OF care ehehehe

it's ag reat guitar, and costs really little for what it offers... I think it's better than my Ibanez SA, analog features, but sperzel tuners and the tremolo are better... the pickups and the neck? Well ... perhaps it may be subjective... but Duncan pickups cost more than Ibanez INF...
Briefly, an almost perfect guitar, reccomended to whom like me doesn't liek active pickups, that the G290 has. Basically, the G290 with S.Duncan pickups. A must have!
