I have a CF75 & also CF100, and they both compare equally or better that my D28 Martin. These were made in the 70's in Japan, and rate a 10 in all categories. Both are acoustic.

Never needed repair. I've had the CF100 for 30 years. Recently purchased the CF75 from daughter of the dealer I bought the CF100 from. It is s new guitar that has been kept in excellent storage, and never played, until now.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Been playing 42 years. Own a D28 Martin acoustic & a Fender mandolin.

Made in Japan in the 70's. This is one of the "lawsuit" copies. I haven't been able to find out much about this manufacturer. This is a copy of the Martin D-45 with a solid spruce top and maple neck, back, and sides. Beautiful inlays, greenish MOP...absolutely georgeous.

Sound : 10
I play folk, folk/rock and some jazz on this guitar. It has a great sustain. The bass mid and treble are balanced. This guitar has a beautiful tone rich and full. Haven't heard it in the same room as a Martin D-45 so I can't compare.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
When I received this guitar, it had a fret buzz above the 7th fret. I read that maple necks tend to warp backward of normal, so I backed off the truss rod and had some fret work done. It is now plays great and was well worth the trouble. It is a 30 year old guitar and has some scratches but it is beautifully made.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It looks and sounds great after 30 years so it is stable and can be gigged with.

Company doesn't exist

Overall Rating : 10
I have a couple of other copies of the d-45 and this is as good as my Tama which is saying a lot if you know about Tamas.
